Pumpkin marshmallows
About this Cook
I recently became a mommy. My son Aidric was born on June 27, 2006. He's amazing, but a little clingy from time to time, so I'm trying to find things which are either fast or easy to (safely) make one handed.
My favorite things to cook
Desserts. Casseroles. Desserts. Cuban food. Cheesecake. Puerto Rican food. Cookies. Mexican food. Cakes. Peruvian food. Fudge. Jamaican food. Chocolates. Fried mush.(fried polenta)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making Thanksgiving dinner with friends. Making Christmas cookies with my mom, aunt, and grandma. (I really miss this one.)
My cooking triumphs
Successfully baking 6 dozen cookies and decorating them, while holding and/or breastfeeding my son.
My cooking tragedies
Tooo many to share. The worst was about 10 years ago. I was making mac 'n cheese from a box and had a lot of homework, so I turned it on high, then I walked away to work on homework and forgot about it for almost 1 hr. I burned a hole in the pan!!!!

Homemade Marshmallows I
I'm not sure if I made them right, they were sticky and foamy/fluffy after they set, but I cut them out with cookie cutters and did the sugar thing, only I used colored granulated as well as powdered and they came out like peeps. Taste better though, I hate peeps!Look at the pic
