Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2006
Made this chicken last night, instead of 2 birds I used one 5 pounder, I kept the same amount of seasoning but changed the cayenne to a chipotle pepper powder (less heat more taste). The chicken was so yummy I will make it again!!!

The only thing I would do differently is add salt and pepper. It is the onle and only thing this recipe was missing.

I thought these were great. I used ham and roast beef for the meat. Give them to a pregnant friend, they will probably love you for it!!

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2006
I was so happy when I found this recipe, I was searching for the perfect Kalua pork recipe, went through a lot for bad ones and stopped at this one. If you are in a pinch and don't have the hawaian sea salt, kosher salt works well. And it makes great leftover sandwiches.

Feta Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Breasts

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2007
I loved this chicken! The only change I made was to use turkey bacon instead of regular. Other than that, no changes were needed.

Spicy Chicken and Cilantro Wontons

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
I made these last week, it was a little tedious but well worth the effort. for me the recipe made about 60 to 70 wontons. I did freeze them before I fried them. They turned out great and I made it with the Hot and Sweet Dipping Sauce from this website.

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

I made this sauce to go along with the southwestern eggrolls from this website. It was a perfect match. It is also great with tortilla chips.

Hot and Sweet Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
This is the best asian dipping sauce I have found. It is perfect for wontons, eggrolls, lumpia and whatever!! I did add about 3T of cornstarch mixed with 2T if water to the sauce while is was simmering and that made it the perfect dipping consistancy for dipping.

Gourmet Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
I like the general idea of this, but I did it a little different. I didn't have any refrigerated pizza crust, but I did have refrigerator biscuts. So I pressed them flat and pre-baked them for about 5 minutes, flipped them over and topped with ranch dressing, chicken, bacon, tomatoes and cheese! These were so good and it was easy to personalize (my son really wanted peperoni!)

Wine Jelly

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2011
I made this with a cheap cabernet sauvignon. I doubted myself when it came to the jelly setting, so I opened all my jars and re-boiled everything. I wish I hadn't, the only part that didn't set was a little bit on top; everything else was fine. I ate it on regular toast with butter. I can't wait to try it with cream cheese and crackers!
