Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2006
Made this chicken last night, instead of 2 birds I used one 5 pounder, I kept the same amount of seasoning but changed the cayenne to a chipotle pepper powder (less heat more taste). The chicken was so yummy I will make it again!!!

Spicy Chicken and Cilantro Wontons

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
I made these last week, it was a little tedious but well worth the effort. for me the recipe made about 60 to 70 wontons. I did freeze them before I fried them. They turned out great and I made it with the Hot and Sweet Dipping Sauce from this website.

No Fuss Shredded Beef Tacos

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2012
I thought this recipe was awesome! I did not have the chili-seasoned diced tomatoes, I just used regular canned diced tomatoes and upped the chili powder amount to 1 Tbsp. Once the meat was done cooking I put everything EXCEPT the meat into a pot on the stove and simmered it down. Once the most of the liquid evaporated I used an immersion blender to puree the tomatoes and onions. Then I returned everything back to the slow cooker and kept it on warm till it was time to eat. My family loved it. I served it with shreded oxaca cheese and diced onions and cilantro.

Cilantro Chicken Burgers with Avocado

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2012
I had a lot of extra ground chicken in the freezer when I came across this recipe. I am glad I did, it is awesome. I reduced the garlic by 1/2 and left out the lime juice since I didn't have any. My husband raved about it. I will make it again.

Hot and Sweet Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
This is the best asian dipping sauce I have found. It is perfect for wontons, eggrolls, lumpia and whatever!! I did add about 3T of cornstarch mixed with 2T if water to the sauce while is was simmering and that made it the perfect dipping consistancy for dipping.

Gourmet Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
I like the general idea of this, but I did it a little different. I didn't have any refrigerated pizza crust, but I did have refrigerator biscuts. So I pressed them flat and pre-baked them for about 5 minutes, flipped them over and topped with ranch dressing, chicken, bacon, tomatoes and cheese! These were so good and it was easy to personalize (my son really wanted peperoni!)

Caramel Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
This pie was great, especially warmed up with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!! When I made this I changed a few things, I lowered the sugar to 1/3 cup, exchanged the milk for bourbon, and upped the pecans to 1 1/2 cups. And make sure you cook it long enough so that the consistancy is just right.

Never Enough Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2007
I loved these green beans. I dont care for the usual green bean casserole, so this was a really nice change. The bacon and the cheese made this recipe. I didn't have and mushrooms on hand so I left them out. I will make this again!
