Slow Cooker Beef Au Jus

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
I made this exactly as the recipe states and it turned out great. The meat was very tender. We served it on hoagie rolls with provolone cheese and a side of au jus along with a strawberry & spinach salad. It was a nutritious complete meal and tasted great!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2007
I think these are good cookies. They are not the best I've ever tried but I do like them and will make again, maybe next time with craisins.

Ginger Steak

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
I thought this recipe was good but my children wouldn't eat it and my mother-in-law said it was too hot for her taste. I had the left overs cut up over a salad for lunch and MMMMMMmmmm good! Thought it was better the next day.

Sesame Pasta Chicken Salad

Reviewed: May 26, 2007
My husband says this is the best pasta salad he's ever had. I added a can of mandarin oranges but 2 would probably have been better. This will be a regular at our house especially in the summer. Very quick and easy.

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2007
This is by far our family's favorite recipe I've tried off of allrecipes.com and I've tried a lot. I used rum instead of beer and they were soooo good! My 7 year old daughter ate as many as her daddy and I think they both would have eaten more if there had been more. I will make this again (soon!). I too made the marmalade, mustard, horseradish, ginger sauce and it was a great way to top off great shrimp.

Bacon and Tomato Cups

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
I took these to an "appetizer" dinner this weekend and they were a hit! I was asked for the recipe from several of the guests. I will absolutely be making these again. I tripled the recipe except the mayo and then used 1/2 c. mayo and 1/2 c. ranch dressing. They were out of this world!

Asian-Glazed 'Melt-in-Your-Mouth' Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
Pork is very tender - sauce was very good also. All the kids loved the pork and all but one loved the sauce with it. We had this with white rice and the sauce was an excellent addition. Will be making again.

Grilled Asian Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2007
This was a delicious way to prepare chicken. I pan fried it and then added some Asian vegetables, it turned out great - my husband and children loved it. I used ground ginger because it was what I had in the pantry.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2007
My husband thought this was the best sandwich he'd ever eaten. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavoring (I could taste the beer and I'm not a beer lover). He wants me to make them again and I think I'll maybe try apple juice instead of the beer.

Creamy Swiss Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2007
I thought this was kinda bland; however, my kids ate it and that's a rave on it's own. Maybe using the herbed chicken soup would make it a little tastier.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2007
My husband LOVED this recipe. I thought it was good but would not use so much mayo next time. My kids liked it OK but would rather have lemon/butter tilapia.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
My favorite cookie this season - had a cookie swap and these were the hit. I know I've made them 8 times since finding this recipe. I have used water but next time will try the OJ (can't believe they'd be better but I'm willing to give it a try)!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
I use this recipe with a little twist. I cook chicken, cream of chicken, cream of celery, celery slices, carrot slices, onion, broth, salt & pepper in crock pot all day. Flavor is really good. I then add dumplins for about an hour and then I transfer to oven for about an hour. Makes dumplins better in my opinion.
