Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
This has to be one of the easiest pizza dough recipes ever. The crust was chewy without tasting like cardboard. Now I never have to buy pizza dough again. Thanks!

Spinach Tomato Tortellini

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
This was delicious. Like others suggested, I added more garlic, mushrooms and a splash of white wine. Used half and half instead of cream/milk. Came out great! My 16year old wanted sausage in it (maybe next time)but I figured a meatless meal wouldn't hurt anyone. This will be great when the weather gets colder. A real hearty meal.

Easy Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
These were excellent. I wasn't sure at first if I was going to like them, but they came out great - especially after chilling for a day in the fridge. I used extra lemon juice (not sure how much, just used a large lemon and squoze the heck out of it). Great flavor. Hubby suggests using part oil and part butter for the cake mix to give the crust a more buttery flavor. Will try that and let you know.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
This recipe was just ok. It was really easy to prepare, but didn't have a whole lot of flavor. I even added a screamin hot sauce to kick it up. The sauce was watery and the meat really didn't absorb the flavor. Will stick with pulled pork sandwiches instead.

Fresh Rhubarb Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2009
This pie was the best. I followed the recipe exactly and it couldn't have been easier. Used a store bought crust to make it even easier. It came out perfectly - no soggy crust, no runny filling. Thank you, thank you. A definite keeper!

Cinnamon Coffee Cake II

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2007
This was so easy to make and tasted great! I used 2 boxes of vanilla pudding. It's not heavy like a normal coffee cake. I'm throwing away all my other coffee cake recipes and this is my new favorite. Thank you so much.

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2007
Very easy to make. I actually pan seared these first, placed them in a corningware dish and let set (had to wait for the boys to come home). Covered with foil and cooked for about 1/2 hour. Perfect!

Awesome Roast Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2007
I've made this several times and each time it's great. I added a package of onion soup mix and about 3/4 cup of red wine. After removing the meat from the cooker, I added cornstarch and water to the gravy to thicken it up. Delicious over the meat and mashed potatoes.

Homemade Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2007
Very easy and very good. I put this together when I got home from work and let it sit for about 45 minutes before cooking. The liquid was completely absorbed. I was able to feed this to the family in shifts. Even after setting in the oven on low for over 2 hours, it was still delicious. This one is a keeper!
