Homemade Crispy Seasoned French Fries

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2014
This is a great crispy fry. I watched the video of this recipe which tells you to add a cup of water to the flour mixture and to fry at 350 degrees for 7 to 10 minutes. I used a large pot of oil so I only spent half my time cooking. I thought that some more salt was needed after trying one fry, so I added some seasoned salt and ground pepper directly on the potatoes before dipping them into the batter - I think it brings out the flavor of the potato. I'm going to try the other reviewers ideas and add some garlic powder and cayenne pepper too.

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2014
This was absolutely amazing - I couldn't stop licking my fingers. I took reviewers advice and made a gravy from some of the marinade. I saved some and marinaded some venison steaks - delicious! This was so good, I wanted to bath in it! Thank you! Update: made one with the gravy and one without, we really liked it much better without the gravy though. We threw the second one on the grill for 30 minutes - it was awesome! I am making this again today, but have decided to add some fresh ginger and we'll see how that goes.

Clam Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2014
This was a wonderful dinner - we took the advice and partially baked the potatoes before throwing it all together. We used the small ears of corn still on the cob and used old bay in the chicken broth. We didn't use any alcohol since we didn't have any and it wasn't missed. We will do this again! Thank you!

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2014
Absolutely fantastic. My guy said it was better than any restaurant could do! The batter was crazy thick but I learned how to master it quickly. It will become a regular in our house. Thank you for a wonderful dinner recipe.

Oyster Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2007
Best oyster stew I have ever had and made! The only thing I changed was that instead of a quart of half & half, I used 2 cups half & half and2 cups of heavy whipping cream. It was amazing!
