Simple Whole Wheat Bread

GREAT bread recipe, rave reviews from the kids (10 & 12) and hubby, who isn't fond of wheat bread. We will be making this on a regular basis. So excited to find a great bread recipe we can use instead of buying our bread. Store bought just doesn't compare.

One Pot Pinto Beans

Yum. Yum. Yum. I have never made up dry beans before, this recipe was GREAT!! We made it for tacos along with Lime-Cilantro rice. I'm so excited with how this recipe turned out. Thanks for sharing!

Baked Pork Chops I

GREAT pork chops recipe! No more dry chops for our family. We will use this recipe over and over. I made this for a group of 10, ages 6 to 90, and EVERYONE finished their plates clean. I didn't use white wine but used chicken broth and it turned out great. I made some chops with the gravy and some without, but had it on the side to add as they wanted. A++ recipe!

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Yumm...I've made these several times and we have enjoyed them each time. I bake them instead of frying. Served w/ Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce from this site.

Taco Seasoning I

We have used this recipe for years and LOVE it! You can spice it up by adding more red pepper flakes or spice it down (for company). Thank you for sharing this recipe. It gets 5 stars from our house!

Baked Ziti I

Yummmm....this is an easy and delicious recipe for company. This is so much easier and less messy than lasagna. Great as is, but may try sausage in place of lean beef for a change up. Serve with salad and bread.

Lemon Blueberry Dessert

Busy Day Chicken Rice Casserole

Great "comfort" food with the rice in the mix. Our family really enjoyed this casserole. I added frozen baby carrots and green beans to the soup mixture to make it a "one dish" meal. Also, the chicken breast I used were FROZEN so I set the oven to 350 degrees. Everything turned out great - the chicken, rice, and veggies. Yum...

Red Enchilada Sauce

Best Brownies

These brownies are really the BEST!!! I made these last weekend with GREAT reviews. This weekend I made a box mix w/ frosting. It was really disappointing after having such a yummy batch last weekend.

Ants on a Log

These are a hit with the kids! The great thing is that the kids can make 'em for themselves. We sometimes use chocolate chips for the ants to make it a sweeter snack.

Dirt Cake I

Fun & delicious. Made to take to a dinner get together and it was a hit. Put it in a plastic flower pot and served with small garden shovel. Fun centerpiece for a picnic or summer/garden themed party.

Clone of a Cinnabon

YUMMY! I used the recipe for Amish White Bread (from this site) for the dough and just followed the recipe from there. The filling and the icing are GREAT! If you don't have time to make the dough - using store bought frozen dough along with this recipe would STILL impress your guest/co-workers/family. I prepared the night before so when we awoke all I had to do was put the pan in the oven. Also, right after baking I inverted the buns into another pan to get all the yummy gooey stuff to pour over the buns.

Mexican Casserole

Very quick all-in-one meal. Everyone had seconds and commented it was yummy. I added fresh cilantro & 4oz of cream cheese to the meat mixture and served it with extra salsa & sour cream. A++ recipe for taste and for how easy it is to prepare. Because of the rave reviews (unprompted) by my kids (7yrs & 5yrs) I'll be making this recipe often.

Chocolate Pretzel Rings

This is a great holiday recipe. I've tried with circle pretzels and the waffle square ones - both turned out great. They look nice, are easy to eat (people can just pop 'em in their mouth), and they are easy to transport to parties. Kid's had fun helping too.

Amish White Bread

This recipe was VERY easy even for the beginner bread baker like me. I've made in with & without the bread machine. I've made in 3 times in the last month!! Husband loves it, kids love, neighbors love it. Even made dinner rolls with it by placing 2-3 rolled dough balls into muffin tin cups.
