It was a very nicely scented door stopper.

Overnight Caramel Pecan Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2014
Why are these so good? Why when the world hates gluten does this hot sugary mess shine just like the posted pics? Why do I feel like shouting CINNABON TAKE THAT? Well, I followed the original recipe and doubled the caramel like some other genius suggested and it resulted it a sugar coma inducing, irresistible breakfast treat (made complete with heart stopping fresh sausage and milk.) It fed 4 men, 1 woman, 2 kids that sometimes eat like men and there were leftovers, hot and gooey with microwave magic in like 20 seconds. Yes, we ate them all. All of them. Yes, I would make this again.

Extreme Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2012
I didn't add as much sugar (3 cups) to the buttercream, but the texture, gloss, and flavor of both the cake and icing were perfect.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2012
I make these with Adam's Natural Peanut butter and add vanilla. They are a little crumbly before baking and a bit fragile. But sooo tasty. I love the crisp outside and the chewy peanut butterness. We sometimes add a few chocolate chips pressed in on top when the cookies come out for a chocolate center.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2011
I have used this recipe for years with great success. I also bake it in a bath and let it cool slowly for only about 30 minutes with the oven cracked open.

Traditional Pita Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2011
Mine didn't poof up as much as the pitas in the picture. I read the other reviews saying I needed to kneed longer, but I did the recommended time. I found that I got more bubbles if I didn't let the dough rise as another reviewer suggested.

Heavenly Angel Food Cake

Reviewed: May 29, 2008
Tried the highest ranked/most reviewed angel food but this one turned out better. My only persistent problem is the cake sticking in the pan. Moist cake!

Creamy Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2006
Easy to make and keep in the fridge during the holidays. I put extra cocoa and a little cinnamon in mine and serve with icecream or whipped cream.

Homesteader Cornbread

Crisp crust, moist, and classic taste. Simple recipe too. I did soak my cornmeal longer though.
