Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2013
I would suggest after the onion has been sauteed, add the wine and let it reduce to cook off the alcohol. Then add the sauce ingredients and simmer. Also, I would use good canned Italian tomatoes in puree.

Artichoke Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2012
Great! Fast, easy and very tasty. I have a dip recipe quite similar that is microwaved and served with Triscuits or other crackers. Love the French Bread addition and baked. Thanks for sharing.

This sounds great and I will try it some day but I will cut the recipe down to 4-6 servings.

Salad with Artichokes

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2006
This is a simple salad with outstanding flavor and eye appeal. I served this with a chicken breast pomadora and rosemarie with rice in butter and it was attractive and delicious.

Apple Cake V

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2006
This cake is quite similar to the German Apple Cake recipe that my friend gave to me from her grandmother many years ago. The difference is that it is baked in a Bundt pan and in addition to being delicious, it's great looking. I use 1 Cup brown sugar 1/2 cup butter or margarine and 1/4 cup milk for the frosting and bring it to a slow boil and simmer for 5-10 minutes. I put half of the frosting on while the cake is still in the bundt pan and the rest when the cake is cooled completely and on the serving platter.
