Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2014
I whipped these up ,super quick, the other night. Ate them almost as soon as they came out of oven ( probably should have let them cool longer as they still needed to set a bit). Oh my!!! Perfectly delicious and super easy. Making them tonight and adding crushed skor bits. Didn't make icing. Oh I forgot, I used a mixture of coconut oil and olive oil instead of butter, it's what I had.

Playgroup Granola Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2012
yum!, I followed recipe, except I used 3/4 c all purpose and 1/4 c whole wheat. I also added some trail mix and dried blueberries. Also, I only baked for 20 minutes, like so many others had suggested, and Im thankful I took them out when I did. I do think putting apple sauce in this would be delicious. Next batch I will try just that. thank you for the recipe.

Asian Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2012
I loved this. I added the juice of an orange to the marinade, and cut down on the chile sauce. I marinated for 2 hours, then removed my 1lb tenderloin and patted it dry. I pan fried the tenderloin on each side for about a minute until browned, then poured all of the marinade over the meat and put in a 400 degree oven for 18 minutes and removed from oven when internal temp was 145-150 degrees and let rest . I made a stir fry of carrots, onions and red bell pepper, and topped a pile of rice with the stirfry , tenderloin and poured the sauce over it all. It was delicious!!! Thank you for the recipe. It sounds like quite a few changes, but its pretty much the same recipe just slightly tweaked.

Focaccia Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2011
I decided as the lasagna was in the oven to whip together this bread. I am not much of a bread maker, but I have to say this turned out delicious and soft. I did make a booboo in oven temp. 10 minutes into baking the bread I realized the temp was only set to 325?!!? I upped the temp and cooked 5 more minutes, an amazingly it still turned out. I topped it with chopped fresh garlic, cheese and sea salt.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2011
I really enjoyed this. My hubby really likes the taco seasoning in a packet, but enjoyed this ( he still preferred the packet kind) I prefer this recipe with the addition of a little cornstarch to make a thicker sauce when water is added the pan meat.

Chickpea Curry

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2011
I guess its not right to rate this recipe, because I made a few changes, but I used it as a base. I didn't have cloves or cilantro, but I added some curry powder, and potatoes, zucchini, and what really made it for me, was the addition of some fresh squeezed lime juice. It was delicious. And because I was sharing with my 9 month old baby girl I left out the cayenne. We both LOVED it. next time i will add cauliflower

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2011
super yummy. I made this lastnight. I didn't have italian seasoning so I added marjoram, oregano, and basil. The parsley really truly added a perfect taste to the sauce. Next time maybe I will add fresh basil. mmmm delish. also, I divided it into two smaller lasagnas and froze one for another day. Thank you

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2010
These were delicious. I made them a week ago, and am making some more tomorrow so we can have them for Christmas breakfast, (okay it may not be the healthiest breakfast but its Christmas :)Im sure they are 5 star worthy, but I upped the brown suger to 1c and increased the cinnamon by a bit. I also added some cream cheese icing to it and they were to die for!! Thank you for the recipe. It was super good.

Teriyaki Marinade

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
Tasty. What amazed me the most was my EXTREMELY picky bf actually said " mmm what sauce is this, its good" That makes this a keeper. I cut the recipe to make 4 servings(plenty of sauce for 2-3 chicken breast) and didn't add very much water. thank you

The Best Unbaked Cherry Cheesecake Ever

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2008
Really really yummy, I usually make this with dream whip, don't know why I didn't think it would work with real Whipped cream. Silly silly me. It is Delicious. Just remember that you have to cream the cream cheese before mixing it with the whipped cream, something I always forget to do and then I end up with little lumps :( still tasty lumps and all :)Thank you for the recipe

Bacon and Tomato Cups

Reviewed: May 10, 2008
there aren't enough stars for this recipe! I did cut back a lot on the mayo, and in one batch I used ranch dressing, which didn't change the taste all that much. Honestly eveyone should try this recipe at least once. I took them to a dinner party, set them on the table, turned my back to say hi to a couple people, and when i looked back they had all been devoured, the plate only had crumbs left... it was pretty funny!! I loved them, and plan to make some for mothers day tomorrow.

Dessert Crepes

Reviewed: May 1, 2008
just made up a batch. My boyfriends mom makes something like this for him all the time. I have tried a couple other recipes on this site, in hopes of duplicating the "pancakes" she makes, and finally I have found the one. I added a bit extra sugar and some vanilla.excellent recipe... I always thought crepes were difficult to make, but now I know better :P thanks for sharing

Linda's Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
Cottage cheese all the way for me! Growing up my mom always made lasagna with cottage cheese, when I started making it myself, I thought I would be "fancy" and use the ricotta, I have since gone back to cottage cheese. I prefer the extra flavour, and the smoother texture that it gives. I think this is a delicious lasagna. thanks for posting this recipe... ps, I add red chili flakes for a bit of spice, and lots of frech garlic, tastes perfect
