Hello fellow cooks!!! I grew up in an Italian home where my mother's cooking was a favorite among our neighbors on a nightly basis. My mother taught me to cook, saying "some day you'll need to cook for yourself". I am a 36 year old male, and proud to cook whatever recipes come my way.
.....One thing that irks me about peoples' reviews of a recipe.....they say "I LOVED this recipe. My family LOVED this recipe except I used this instead of that and changed this.....".....then people...you did NOT make the recipe....you made YOUR recipe!

My favorite family cooking traditions
Waking up to the smell of fresh, homemade sauce on Sunday mornings and having breakfast consisting of coffee and fried meatballs!!!
My cooking triumphs
Although I could NEVER match my mom's homemade spaghetti sauce, I have come very close to re-creating it.
My cooking tragedies
Actually I have had more than 1 tradgedy while using the slow-cooker of all things!!!!! (Example: Burning ribs by not using enough BBQ sauce)
