Serbian Cevapcici

Reviewed: May 20, 2012
OK, I just made two batches of the meat. First batch was with a store bought seasoning impoted from Bosnia, the second, this recipe. All I can say is that this recipe is by far the BEST! True flavor through and through! I followed the recipe to a "T" and it turned out fantabulous. One thing I will say is that if you want true authenticy, homebake Somun Flat Bread to serve. Store bought pita just plain SUCKS! AMERICAN BRUNETTE you ROCK the Mid Eastern FOOD WORLD Baby!

Army SOS Creamed Ground Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2012
For what this is, it's fantastic. Quick and simple. Definitely add onions and fresh garlic. Consistancy is perfect. Heck of a lot better than in the box "hamburger assistant". As stated by other reviewers, this recipe can be built on....but then would it really be SOS? Thanks Mary 48! Do what you love and love what you do!

Italian Rib Eye

THIS IS THE BEST FREAKIN' STEAK MARINADE EVER!!!! Seriously now. The fresh herbs is what makes this steak so darn good. Don't bother with dried herbs...as it won't do this recipe justice, it'll be your average everday marinade. The amount of herbs and oils is perfect. I know, looks like a lot, but perfect for the job. Honestly, I only used this as a marinade and didn't slather it on during the cooking process...STILL TASTED FREAKIN' GREAT! BIG THANKS TO DEVAN FOR POSTING THIS BABY!!!!!!!!!!!! - PS - nice touch with the balsamic, my new cooking friend.

Neat Sloppy Joes

This is a perfect recipe for those on a budget looking for a quality taste. Throw out that canned cuz this recipe does all that and more! Followed the ingredients to a "T" and it turned out awesome. If you don't like celery...just sub in a little celery salt ( 1/2 tsp)...though I will say the final product will lack a little crunch (texture)....best to keep it real in my opinion. Thanks for sharing Aunt Mamie...you ROCK Sista'

Country White Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
This is by far the best White Bread recipe I have come across from Allrecipes! Easy to make, turns out GREAT. As with others, proof the yeast first. Also, 2 packages of yeast is equal to 2 1/2 teaspoons, for those that by the yeast by the jar. Joanne, you hit it out of the ball park with this recipe!

1-Dish Taco Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
This was one freakin' simple recipe to make! I doubled it and baked it in a 9X13 cassrole dish....turned out perfect! Search for homemade taco seasoning on this site and it's a taste of Mexican / American...or Canadian, depending on where you live. Wouldn't change a thing. Great low budget meal.

Easy Cheese and Garlic Scones

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2007
First time making scones and everything turned out perfect. Definitely requires 6 tbsp of butter though to avoid heaviness as others have pointed out. I'll be making these again and again. Can't wait to try differnet cheeses and berries etc...
