Edible Play Dough

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2009
All this recipe needed was an extra cup of the dried milk. After that, it was perfect! The kids LOVED it:) I have a day care in my home, and we combined snack time with craft time. Will use again and again. Thanks!

Jo Jo's Favorite Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
Loved these muffins! Nice and moist with a great banana flavor. I used 2 large over ripe banana's that I had to use up. I added 1/2 tsp vanilla and only used 1/2 tsp of cinnamon which was perfect. Any more would have been too much. Mine were perfectly done at 20 minutes, so watch your baking time.

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
This is a great, easy recipe. The kids think it's so cool to eat a giant cookie:) I followed the recipe exactly except I don't have a pizza pan (cant find it since we moved:() I read about other people having theirs spill over the sides of the pan so deiceded to use a 9 inch non stick, spring form pan. No parchment needed, and it's deep so it absolutely wont spill over. Just let it cool a while and release the spring sides. Comes right out and flips onto the cooling rack.

Vanilla - Chocolate Powdered Sugar Frosting

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
This will be my frosting recipe from now on! So good and not too sweet at all. I used 1 1/2 tbs. of heavy whipping cream instead of milk, but followed the rest exactly including cocoa powder. Nice and thick and creamy. Easy to pipe onto my cupcakes. Thanks for sharing this!

Sunshine Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2008
These are fantastic! They are just a little sweeter than regular corn muffins and much fluffier. My kids LOVED them. I had no problem at all getting them out of the muffin tins. I just buttered and floured a non stick pan VERY well and they just popped right out! (the key to a good grease and floured pan is to never use your fingers to spread the butter and never touch any part of the finished pan with your fingers) 18 minute in my over was just right. Will make again and again. Thanks for sharing:)

Mary Anne's Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2008
OMG! This is a keeper! This is now my official carrot cake when I make it. SOOO moist with a crisp top. I halved the recipe since I only needed one round 9" cake to make the Eater bunny in the video on this site. The only think I changed was the sugar. I only had light brown sugar in the house so I used that instead of white. I'm sure it's just as good with white, I'll try that next time!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2008
By FAR the best frosting I have EVER had! Didn't change a thing in the recipe. I'm using it to frost a bunny carrot cake for Eater Sunday. Thanks so much for sharing!

Sweet-and-Sour Meat Loaf

Love this meat loaf! My family did as well. So moist and tangy. I did cook in oven for 50 minutes instead of microwave. Will make again and again. Thanks:)

Play Dough Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2007
Yummy and fun! So easy for the kids. It's hard to find a project that a 7 year old and a 3 year old can both do together and enjoy. This would be it:) We followed the recipe EXACTLY and turned out PERFECT! We did sprinkle a bit of sugar on them before baking, which made them taste exactly like sugar cookies. Thanks soooo much for the recipe!

Gingerbread Biscotti

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2006
this may be the best biscotti I have ever had! I followed the recipe exactly (even the cooking time) and they came out perfectly. I don't know why some others had so much trouble. The dough wasn't sticky at all. Even my 6 year old had one with milk tonight and loved it! This is a keeper. Thanks so much Christina!

Pumpkin Bread Ring

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2006
Best pumpkin bread I've ever had! It's almost like cake. I did not alter anything, great just the way it is. Thanks so much! The kids and husband LOVED it. I will be making this to give to the neighbors for the Holiday's.
