Used Ketsup instead of tomato soup, and left out the horseradish. Used it for Taco Salad. Delicious!

Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
I used a 3 bone 6.5 lb roast. I added 1 can of beef broth to the pan drippings when I took it out of the oven to rest. The meat was very rare, so I turned the stove top on, heated the broth & drippings and sauted each piece for about 10 seconds per side before placing on each plate. YUM! Perfect! Next time I will use a boneless piece as the bone makes slicing difficult. We are using the leftovers for Philly-cheese steak sandwiches tomorrow night!

Perfect! I through a few extra spices in the rub. I also didn't have any whiskey so left that out, the ribs were very good and falling off the bone!

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2009
Oh Yeah! Trust this recipe exactly as written. It seems dry, but the zucchini does the job and makes these brownies moist and delicious. You can't see, feel or taste the zucchini - what a great way to sneek in a little vitamin C and fiber! Frosting is also delicious, and has a dark chocolate flavor - not too sweet. I've never served these and not had several requests for the recipe!

Make this recipe the night before to let the flavors meld. Before serving add chopped avocado that has been drizzled with lime juice. The recipe is my guaranteed favorite crowd pleaser!

Non-Alcoholic Margarita Punch

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2006
I needed a non-alcoholic recipe for a bridal shower held at a church, but wanted it to taste like a real margarita. This recipe is fantastic! I followed the recipe as printed but froze it for 1.5 hours before serving. Next time I serve this at a party, I will have one person designated as mixer, as it is so delicious everyone wants more. I didn't try it, but would assume you could add a bit of Tequilla when mixing if you prefer alcohol.
