Lemon Poppy Seed Bundt Cake
This is an exceptionally good cake! I have used this to make a traditional lemon poppyseed bundt cake, but I've also omitted the poppyseeds and used it for a lemon cake layered with lemon curd filling and frosted with vanilla bean buttercream. In either form this recipe always gets RAVE reviews.

Ciabatta Bread
I made this bread last night and it turned out well. It was not overly sticky or soupy and was fairly easy to work with. I did warm the water and proofed the yeast with the sugar in the bread machine before adding the other ingredients. I am only rating this a 4 because, although the bread is good, it's not ciabatta. It has good flavor, but not a ciabatta flavor. It would be a good substitute when I don't have enough time (or energy) to deal with the biga.

Banana Cake VI
This cake was excellent! My husband said it was the best cake I've ever made (and I've made a lot). I must say that I was skeptical about the baking temp and the time in the freezer, but tried it anyway. It was perfect and very moist, even the next day! I made 2 9-in rounds and made a 2 layer cake. The cake was so moist that the bottom layer had trouble supporting the top layer. I gave it some time in the fridge (about an hour) and it was ok. The frosting was very good, but a bit too soft. I added more powdered sugar, but it was still soft and wanted to slide off the sides of the cake. Next time I'll add more sugar to get a stiffer consistency. Definitely a wonderful cake!
