Jill's Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
Delicious recipe. I used Cream of Chicken instead of mushroom as well since that's our preference and had panko on hand so I mixed panko, some of the cheddar cheese and some of the melted butter and sprinkled on top the last 20 minutes. Wonderful that way!

Swiss Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
I'm not sure why this is called Swiss Potato Soup since it uses cheddar. I used swiss cheese and it's amazing that way! I used chicken stock instead of boullion and tossed in a little cooked crumbled bacon that I had on hand. This way I only had to add a pinch of salt. The thickness is perfect.

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

These are absolutely awesome! They disappear every time. I like to add a dash or hot sauce or horseradish if "heat" lovers will be in the crowd. I've never had leftovers when I've made these.

Swamp Frog

I don't even like his kind of soda and loved this! We used vodka and added it to those that wanted it so those that didn't want to drink could still enjoy it. Very citrusy, very puckery but no one had a problem with that!! It was all gone by the end of the evening!!

Scotcharoos

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2011
Love these. Use a little less cereal if you want them gooey-er! Easiest way to make the frosting is to heat your oven to warm while making the bars. Then just sprinkle the chocolate and butterschotch chips on top of the bars and slide them into the oven and turn it off. After about 10-15 minutes remove from the oven and swirl the chips with the back of a spoon to mix and spread evenly over the bars.

Hearty Beef Enchiladas

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
Delicious. Will add some taco seasoning to the beef before the sauce next time. Easy to adjust the heat on these by the level of salsa you use. Can't wait to make them again.

White Chili III

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
I had a similar recipe for White Chili and lost it so I came to my trusty allrecipes.com for a replacement. This one fits the bill. The only change I really made was to use fresh chicken and saute it with the onion and celery and I didn't have corn, or even want corn in it, so I threw in a can of white hominy. Absolutely delicious addition!!!! I love hominy and any time I can incorporate it into a dish, I'm very happy. I'm looking forward to my leftovers this week!

Seven Layer Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
I warmed the sweetened condensed milk and put half on the crumb crust and half over the top of the bars. Perfect! The crust didn't crumbled away nearly as much as when I've done it without. Also, don't bother without parchment paper!!! It's your best friend. They turn out beautifully and so much easier to cut when you just lift them out of the pan and cut them. These taste delicious.

Old Fashioned Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2012
YUM!!! Quick, easy and so much more delicious than a cardboard box mac & cheese. I added buttered parmesan breadcrumbs when I baked it just to up the yum factor.

Chocolate Coconut Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2011
I was so hopeful for this recipe but won't be using it again. The filling was soup and I followed the recipe exactly. It never was thick and would have turned the bottom cake into soup. Any ideas what I did wrong?
