Every time I make this, it disappears. I never modify the recipe, it is perfect as is. Thank you!

Strawberry Pie II

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2011
Very tasty and easy to make. *Almost* too sweet so I might try cutting back on the sugar a bit, or maybe adding a bit of lemon juice to balance the sugar. Thank you for sharing!

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2011
Great recipe! I cooked them in a muffin tin as suggested by other reviewers and they came out perfectly. I added a bit of garlic and black pepper. I love the texture of meatloaf made with oats and the sweet/tangy sauce is just right. Thanks for sharing!

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies IV

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2011
Just took the first batch out of the oven. So tasty, especially while they're still warm! I followed the recipe exactly and I think they are delicious as is. Slight crunch on the outside but still tender on the inside. Thanks for a great recipe!

Speedy Salmon Patties

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
Very tasty! I didn't have saltines, so I used panko instead which gave it a very light crispy coating. Thank you for a great simple recipe!

Grandma's Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2010
We love this recipe in my house! I also used cinnamon instead of cloves, and we prefer tomato sauce to the sweetness of ketchup. If I have it I'll use spicy brown mustard instead of 'classic' yellow mustard. We usually have these with sweet potato fries on the side- so much better than anything you can get from the drive-thru! Thanks for sharing your grandmother's recipe.

Peanut Butter Cupcakes

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2010
These cupcakes are so light and airy! I was expecting a richer peanut butter flavor so next time I'll add some peanut butter chips to the batter. Thank you for the yummy recipe!

Eggless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2010
I'm so glad I found this recipe- I promised a batch of peanut butter cookies to a friend but found I had just enough eggs for the pies I was also baking that day. These turned out great and my friend loved them! I added some swirled chocolate chips to half the batch which was also tasty.:) Thanks!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2010
This was perfect on the Carrot Cake recipe I found on this site. It really does have a tangier cream cheese flavor than what you'll get from a canned frosting, so if you prefer a sweeter sugary frosting this might not be right for you. My family loves cream cheese flavor, though so it was perfect for us!

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2010
I made this for Thanksgiving this year and everyone loved it. It's dense and moist and absolutely tasty. I was afraid with a long list of ingredients it would be difficult to make but it really comes together quickly! I also used the Cream Cheese Frosting II from this site. Thanks for sharing, Brian!

Matzoh Candy

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
I've made this recipe before, from a fantastic book I found at my library, so I know it can be awesome! I had some problems with this one, though it could very easily have been my fault somehow, which is why I'm giving it a high rating. I used unsalted butter instead of margarine, so maybe that's what messed me up? I followed all other directions to the letter and when I removed it from the oven, the matzoh had floated to the top! Anyone else have this happen? Also, my chocolate chips crystalized from the intense heat, so I would recommend a brief cool-off period just in case. This can be a delicious recipe, and I wish you better luck than I had! Thanks for posting, CC. :)

Candy Turkeys

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2010
I've seen this idea before, but I'm not seeing how this resembles a turkey. He looks a little like he's been stepped on! : ( My mother has made these before with Oreos, malted milk balls, candy corn and cinnamon Red Hots- they're very cute! I'll give her a call and post the "recipe" if anyone is interested.

Florentine Artichoke Dip

Loved this recipe, and I don't even really like spinach! The only problems I had were mistakes of my own. May try some of the other reviewers suggestions, just for fun. Thanks for a wonderful dish!

Irish Soda Bread III

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2007
You can't really call this Irish soda bread. Isn't the whole point to replace yeast with baking soda and an acid (buttermilk)to leaven the bread. If it must have yeast to be made in a bread machine I think I would just rather make it by hand...
