Ultimate Chocolate Dessert
This was so easy to make--especially if you use bittersweet chocolate chips instead of buying a bar and chopping it. I had a 10 oz. bag of bittersweet chips and decided to use the entire bag so I increased all the other ingredients 2.5 times. I spooned the dessert into six ramekins. It set up very well. It could be made elegant looking by adding a dollop of whipped cream and some fresh raspberries or ribbons of orange peel. Tasted very good.

Razzy Blue Smoothie
I didn't have flax meal so used flax seed; also used French vanilla yogurt as I didn't have raspberry on hand. I thought this was rather bland. Reading the ingredients, it seemed there were too many competing flavors--almond, banana, grape, raspberry, blueberry--for any one to stand out. If I were to make this again (which is unlikely), I would use the raspberry yogurt to see if that makes any difference in the flavor.

Shredded Apple Carrot Salad
I made this yesterday. Decided to double it as it didn't seem to make a lot. I didn't have fresh basil so left it out. I also used olive oil instead of safflower and a regular apple (I think a Braeburn) instead of a Granny Smith. I took the suggestion of another reviewer and didn't shred the apple or carrots--instead I used a vegetable peeler and made "ribbons." The dressing completely overwhelmed the apples and carrots. I think the concept is good but it would be better if the apples were finely diced; maybe do the same with the carrots; cut the dressing in half; maybe add some craisins, raisins, or other dried fruit.
