Holiday Chicken Salad

Awesome! I added paprika and garlic powder to the chicken as I was cooking it. I also added a dash of ginger to the spice mix.

Pasta Casserole

Good and easy- this dinner served 4 with lots of leftovers! I used chicken instead of beef, added chopped onion and garlic, and used less cheese (just enough to make it stick together). Will def make again!

Southwest Chicken

Very easy/healthy recipe- I served it over brown rice, and added chili powder, cumin, and garlic to the corn/bean sauce. My boyfriend love it!

Stuffed Chicken Valentino

Easy and elegant! The boyfriend loved it. I only made a few changes-- I added sun-dried tomatoes and minced garlic to the filling and then arranged the leftover filling on top as a garnish. The tanginess gave it a nice kick! Will DEF make again.

Bob's Awesome Lasagna

Simple and delish. I added a layer of sun-dried tomato pesto between layers, and a dash of chili powder and cayenne pepper to the ground beef as I was cooking it for an extra kick. My boyfriend and his friends all loved it!

Cranberry Apple Pie

Very good-- I substituted a little more cinnamon and apple pie spice. Next time I'll add more cornstarch and less juice- the pie was very runny and didn't set until it had been in the fridge for a day.

Raspberry Crunch Brownies

The brownies turned out great, although next time I might add more raspberry flavor (yogurt maybe?). Great texture! Some changes I made: I mixed in the 1/4 cup seedless raspberry jam into the batter and left out 1/4 cup of sugar. Then I sprinkled some grape nuts and chocolate chips on the bottom of the baking pan and browned them in the oven before pouring the batter over and cooking (to make a topping). The raspberry taste wasn't that noticeable, but the texture of the brownies and the crunchy top were great.
