Pumpkin Tart With Pecan Crust

ok so i wanted to make a pumpkin pie for me and my boyfriend but i didnt have any evaporated milk on hand (just about every pumpkin pie recipe calls for this). so i decided to look up a non dairy recipe and i got this pumpkin tart recipe. well i didnt really feel like making any special crust and i didnt have pecans on hand either so i just made a regular pie crust. i also did not have arrow root, which i replaced with cornstarch, and i did not have soy milk either so i used skim. this is just a basic pie for the most part, but it turned out beautiful! and smells soooo good. eventually i would like to follow the recipe exactly, though i will definetly not add so much ginger, as that is a little over board.

Funeral Pie

i havent gotten to taste this pie yet because i made it for me and my boyfriend, and i dont see him for another day. but i baked it this evening and it looks and smells wonderful

Mushroom Chicken Parmesan

mmm this turned out perfect. ofcourse i seasoned the flour with garlic and onion powder, italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. after i had the breasts ready to go in the oven in the pan i also sprinkled some more italian seasoning on them. at about the last 5 minutes in the oven i added a small can of sweet pees over them. i don't think they could have come out better!

Mom's Eggnog

hmm i did not like the taste of this eggnog for drinking, but it worked fine for my eggnog spice cake luckily. it tasted like milk that had been sitting out too long and i could also taste the flour in it.

Vegan Brownies

i love this recipe! i did however use only 3/4 cup of vegetable oil instead of the full cup. i also baked them for about 2 or 3 minutes longer than suggested time. they came out perfect and very chocolatey!

Simple White Cake

this cake is so easy to make and tastes a million times better than any boxed mix. it's not very white, but it's a good cake none the less. it's quite filling. also it is not too sweet, which is perfect!
