Mexican Bean and Rice Salad

Reviewed: May 15, 2010
This was awesome, although I did add some things. I added tomato and feta cheese, and also used just a dash of cumin, black beans, and chick peas instead of kidney, subbed white rice. Surprisingly yummy.

Dill Wrapped Cream Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2007
I tried this because the reviews were so good, but I did not like it at all. If I were the only one eating it, it would have been in the garbage. I'm only giving it 2 stars because everyone else who tried it said "eh" it was "ok".

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2007
This is a really good recipe. The only thing I will change is add some poultry seasoning or bullion next time, I think it needed a little more of a chicken flavor. Other than that its great and I will definately make it again.

Salmon Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2007
Everyone in my house liked this, but I thought it was too fishy. I only used one can of salmon, and I did not like that I had to pick apart the salmon and debone it and basically clean it before I added it to the chowder. I will probably use this base recipe again, but not with canned salmon. I think the reason I didn't like this as much as everyone else did was because I had to see and smell the canned salmon b4 I cleaned it, all I can say is BLECH! Definately was fast and easy though, I'll give it that.

Salmon with Lemon and Dill

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2007
The best salmon recipe I've tried so far. My grandmother doesn't like salmon, and after eating this said she would like me to make it again. I didn't change a thing and it came out awesome! Thanks!

Hungarian Goulash I

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2007
This is a great recipe. I subbed 2 cups of beef broth in place of the water, added 2 extra tblsp of paprika and a tblsp of sugar. I even added a little more than 1/2 tsp pepper and I thought it was perfect. Served over egg noodles, the gravy was just right, not thin at all. I will be making this again, its a keeper!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2006
I just made this tonight it came out great! I used thick center cut pork chops instead of a roast and cooked on low between 200-250 for 6 or 7 hours in my nesco. I also subbed balsamic for red wine, and doubled up on all the ingredients to make extra sauce. Went great with mashed potatoes and green beans. The sauce is a little thin, but it didn't matter much we still enjoyed it. I will make this one again and again, quick and easy!
