These are not bad but not great. My kids loved them. I still prefer to make a banana bread loaf and with the few more ingredients in it: it's worth the extra effort

One Bowl Brownies

These were really good, chocolaty, moist, fudgy brownies. A real crowd please. The only problem I had was cutting them; the top had kind of a hard crust and so it just crushed and cracked around the knife. Otherwise very nice, I'll definitely make again.

Rich and Simple French Onion Soup

I kept the recipe almost the same except 1)I too browned the onions 2)I used my own stock instead of from cans 3)I skipped the alcohol. The soup was great in flavor but there is so much butter in it, I actually felt sick all evening after eating it. Next time I will either use at least half the butter or stain off the excess (because it does need a good amount to fry the onions). Overall a good soup and worth making again.

Spanish Chicken

This dish is sooooooo good, I highly recommend it! You might as well print it and put it in your recipe box right away because you will love it. All of the ingredients are things I keep around so no need to scramble for a strange item. These are the changes I made: 1.) I used fresh chicken broth instead of using the water and the bouillion. 2.) I used some salty kalamata olives instead of the canned kind 3.) I omitted the salsa topping and the cinnamon. This was a TOTAL crowd pleaser for myself, my picky husband and 1 year old.
