Hash Brown Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2011
I made this for my extended family for Christmas brunch and it was a huge hit. I followed the other reviewers comments about using 16 ounces of sour cream and a package of dry onion soup mix, it turned out great. I am sure I will be asked to make this again.

Phyllo-wrapped Halibut Fillets with Lemon Scallion Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2010
This recipe is fantastic. I followed a few of the suggestions made by other reviewers and cut the lemon juice down to 2TBL. I also used 1/2 & 1/2 instead of heavy cream and used only two sheets of phyllo per fillet, in an attempt to cut back on the calories. The wonderful thing about this recipe is that for my non fish eating child, I wrapped a thin piece of chicken. Everyone was happy! Thanks for a great recipe!

This was so good! Based on other reviews I decreased the lemon pepper to 2 tsps. It browned nicely and looked as good as it tasted. Thanks.

Spanish Rice II

This was a great base recipe. I used the suggestions for adding in cumin and garlic, and also used chicken stock. I used brown rice instead of white and it was delicious.

They are really yummy! Can be made by making biscuit size rounds of pie dough, for an even quicker dessert.
