Chicken Alfredo Biscuit Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2013
Delicious comfort food! My daughter has been asking me to make this recipe since she saw it on our Pillsbury calendar. Made it last night & I wish I wouldn't have waited so long. It was great. Very easy to make. Seasoned and baked 4 boneless chicken breasts for 30 min. After taking them out of the oven I let them cool so that I could cut them up. Whipped the recipe together & baked the whole thing. I put cut biscuits over the whole top of the casserole. Baked the whole thing for 20 minutes. Biscuits were not completely done so baked it for another 15 min. Still did not think they were done so I turned the oven off, covered it with foil & let it sit in the over for another 15 min. They were soft on the bottom but crunchy on the top. I also doubled the recipe & put in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. I only used 1 bag of frozen broccoli as if I had used 2 bags it wouldn't have fit in the baking dish. My family loved it! Will definitely make again.

Cranberry Orange Loaf

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2012
This bread was delicious. 1st time baking with fresh cranberries. Cut them in half before adding them to the batter as per other reviewers. Doubled the recipe, used walnuts instead of pecans, added a glaze to the top after baking & used butter instead of margarine. The cranberry & orange flavor were very complimentary together. The bread was even better the next day. Will definitely be making this bread again!

Chicken Jalfrezi

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2012
Have made this recipe a few times. Really good. My husband loves it. He is from Libya and likes spicy food. Tonight I added sliced carrots and some chick peas to it. I also cut the boneless chicken thighs into chunks. Served it over couscous. Delicious.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
Best sweet potato casserole ever! Third year in a row on our Thanksgiving menu. My daughter who always said she doesn't like sweet potatoes loves these. I use 3 pounds of fresh sweet potatoes which I bake in the oven and then scoop the potato out of the skins. I think it tastes better than boiling them and very easy to mash. That is the only thing different that I do to this recipe. Wonderful!

Country Green Beans

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
Wonderful recipe. This is the 3rd year in a row that I have made these green beans for Thanksgiving. Even the kids love them. The only things I do differently than the recipe states is that I use turkey bacon as my husband does not eat any pork products, double the recipe and I use whole thin frozen green beans as it is hard to find good fresh ones. Absolutely delicious and very easy to make.

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2010
Delicious! I used 2 lbs ground beef, 2 eggs and doubled the ingredients for the gravy. After taking browned beef patties out of skillet I added 1/2 chopped onion to skillet before adding gravy. Also when making gravy I added 1/2 cup of milk instead of beef bullion to make a creamier gravy and reduce salt. I also did not add extra salt recipe calls for. This recipe made 7 nice sized patties. I made mashed potatoes & green beans to round out the dinner. Will make again. Next time I will add mushrooms to gravy. I think that will make it perfect.

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2009
I have made this recipe twice now. Absolutely delicious! Made it exactly as the recipe states. Didn't change a thing. My family loved the bread. I used two regular loaf pans and got two big loaves. This recipe is a keeper especially during the summer when we are have so many zucchini.
