Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2011
I have made this 2 Christmas in a row now, it's a family hit. I suggest making it exactly the way this recipe says. It's an expensive cut of meat so I don't want to mess it up! VERY GOOD

Bran Flax Muffins

I was looking for a recipe for filling, good for me muffins. This fits the bill perfectly! I love them as do most everyone I know who has tasted them. I cut the sugar in half and was fine with that. I also added in some poppy seeds just for fun. You can be creative with these! GOOD!

Mongolian Beef I

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2008
I personally loved this recipe... and it was easy too! I added thin sliced red bell peppers to the mix and next time I will add snow peas! I doubled this recipe and served over long grain and wild rices with steamed broccoli. You could use anything though. I did make it a bit too hot as I added a little (lot) too much red pepper. VERY GOOD though, will absolutely make it again. Maybe next time try out some others suggestions for fun!

Beef Stew II

This was a good stew base.. My family liked it but it wasn't the best in my eyes. A little bland...will try again and add more seasonings.

Loved it! I didn't have the pepper but I'm sure it would have been better with it... I used extra cumin to compensate. Will make again only will add the pepper!

Chili Verde

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2007
I really liked this sauce. We served it with warm flour tortillas and actually, my husband has scooped it over most everything since. It's spicy but not to the point of breathing fire or sweating! I used pork picnic roasts and while it needed help "falling apart" it was sooo good. I removed the roast before adding the verde salsa and pulled it apart with two forks then added it back in and let it swim in the sauce like that for another hour. I'll need to make this over the winter! A keeper for sure! As for ease, nothing to it! So easy and quick!

Juicy Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2007
I will absolutely make this one again! I loved the simplicity of this and my guests were impressed...another thing, I only marinated these for about 2 hours and that was plenty! I think if I had let them sit any longer, they would have had a little too much flavoring. Quick and easy, a definate keeper!

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2007
I made this today and it was very good. The meat was so tender and I made a gravy with the juice at the end. I did not put potatos in the cooker, I made garlic mashed! A nice change and a hit at the table!

Chili Colorado

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2007
The entire family really liked this recipe! The only thing I would do different next time is slow cook the pork then shread it, that's just a matter of preferance. Not too hot, not too mild, served it with Trader Joes brand spanish rice (the best!) and tortillas. Yum!

Welfare Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2007
Pretty darn good, I especially liked simplicity of it all. My husband liked it very much, more than I, because it isn't all that sweet. I had to frost mine...it just wasn't sweet enough for me. I give it 4 stars because it really needs frosting.
