Authentic Bangladeshi Beef Curry

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2012
Delish!! I used pork instead... Cooking time was not long at all... I don't cook beef, so that could take the recommended time. Next time I will add tomato, perhaps cauliflower, and cilantro! Thanks for the recipe!!

Hamburger Vegetable Soup

Yum! Yum! Yum! I think I'm addicted! My added fling- fried meat(ground pork) with garlic, onion and chili flakes. I used beef broth since I used ground pork. Next day left overs taste even better! I like the fact that since we add dry onion soup mix (low sodium), no extra salt was needed. Thanks for the recipe!

Indian Chicken Curry (Murgh Kari)

Very good! So simple and easy. My thought though is to make sure you don't over add the tomato, other wise that's all you'll taste.

Harvest Corn Chicken Chowder

Yummy! The changes I made: Along with 1/2 red pepper, added 1/2 yellow pepper, 1 CAN of corn(12oz) and 1 can of cream of corn(2cups). Because I added cream of corn, I only added 370ml of evaporated milk(one can), and didn't add the 1/2 cup of milk. Celery salt instead of salt. Also, I just used ham. Husband had seconds, so I know its good! :) Homemade biscuits topped it all off!

Awesome!!! I even loved eating the curry with just rice. And to add some heat, I added little bit of chili powder. It was perfect!! My east indian husband (me canadian) loved it!

Spicy Hot Chicken Legs

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2006
It was good. I'd use less hot sauce... Since I dont like blue cheese dressing.. I used ranch and it was great. Also, I cooked them in the oven instead of a slow cooker.. and cooked until crispy. Mmmm!

Spice Balls

Tasty! But didnt hold their shape well... I think I'll need to use more milk next time. But easy and fast to make for that donut craving! Here's a hint: if you're deep frying them on the stove top... make sure you do a couple test runs... because they can brown fast. I found MED-LOW was the best for cooking them.

Garlic Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2006
This was pretty good. I used garlic salt, instead of powder and then just omitted the salt. We like heat, so, I added chili pepper flakes... and used Italian bread crumbs. I used chicken legs... so, I recommend cooking them in the oven first, then deep frying... if you go the other way, they wont be as crispy.

Dee's Roast Pork for Tacos

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2006
I halved the recipe and still found it took longer than 2hours to cook it. About half way through I raised the temp to 400. I only added 3 tsp of chilli powder and still found it hot. Instead of making it into taco's... I served it with salsa on top of rice and sourcream on top of the pork..it was great!!
