About this Cook
I am a wife to a wonderful man from India and a mother of a 4yr old girl, Bella. I have two puppies... Asia and Max.
My favorite things to cook
Baking! I do wish my husband was more of a fan of home baked goods and breads....But since he's not, I do enjoy baking for others and family gatherings. I also love East Indian food. More of the Southern style since that is where my husband is from. I'm also a fan of Mexican food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
When my family gets together, whether its just a few of us, or all of us... they usually request one meal Indian. Its alot of work but so worth it in the end!

Authentic Bangladeshi Beef Curry
Delish!! I used pork instead... Cooking time was not long at all... I don't cook beef, so that could take the recommended time. Next time I will add tomato, perhaps cauliflower, and cilantro! Thanks for the recipe!!

Hamburger Vegetable Soup
Yum! Yum! Yum! I think I'm addicted! My added fling- fried meat(ground pork) with garlic, onion and chili flakes. I used beef broth since I used ground pork. Next day left overs taste even better! I like the fact that since we add dry onion soup mix (low sodium), no extra salt was needed. Thanks for the recipe!
