Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2007
This is delicious! I also use this recipe without adding the canned apricots. I also cube the sweet potatoes and add a pinch of cinamon. A family favorite!

Ok but missing some flavor....also the sauce didn't thicken enough maybe needs a drop more cornstarch.

These came out PERFECT. Per other's comments I also added 1 tsp. vanilla and a dash of cinamon. Also used 1 cup of milk and substituted 2 tbsp. oil for shortening.

Chocolate Chip Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
My kids (and mine) new favorite cake! I substituted soy milk to make it pareve and it came out perfectly. Made it in a bundt and sprinkled with powdered sugar and it looked pretty enough to serve some very happy guests. Sometimes...the simple pleasures in life are the best!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2007
This is an amazing recipe. I tried another one beforehand that didn't rise well, but these are fluffy and delicious. Doesn't even need the streusel topping (for those of us watching our waist-line). And for those complaining they stick----use LINERS!!!!!! This also keeps the muffins fresher longer!

Amazing! I couldn't believe how great these turned out. I needed to add a bit more water though (I used wet hands to knead the dough). Can't wait for next Purim!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2007
AMAZING!!!!!!!!I refused to tell my husband what was in it (zucchini) until he tried a piece and he LOVED it. So did my little kids. This is a new family favorite here. I did the suggested 1/2 white/1/2 brown sugar and added craisins. I really can't stop gushing....I already forwarded the recipe to friends...

The sauce is delicious. My meatballs came out a bit hard though so next time I will probably add a bit less breadcrumbs.
