I look to buy overripe bananas just to have an excuse to make this recipe. I add 1 tsp vanilla and a pinch of cinnamon for extra kick. DELICIOUS!!!!

This is delicious! I also use this recipe without adding the canned apricots. I also cube the sweet potatoes and add a pinch of cinamon. A family favorite!

Apple Crumb Pie

A bit sweet but next time I will use granny smith apples which will probably fix that. Overall a great, easy pie that the whole family can enjoy.

Delicious! My kids were so happy to get to eat "cake" with dinner! I added an extra egg and used only 1/2 cup of sugar.

Toll House Walnut Pie

A HUGE hit! Like eating a large, gooey chocolate chip cookie, only better! I brought this dessert to a dinner and EVERYONE had seconds. (I only used 1/2 cup of butter).

True, the muffins barely rose and the blueberries sunk to the bottom. Still yummy though!

A tasty, healthy alternative. Very moist. Not so "attractive" to set out for guests though.

Amazing! I couldn't believe how great these turned out. I needed to add a bit more water though (I used wet hands to knead the dough). Can't wait for next Purim!

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2007
Okay recipe. The sauce didn't adhere to the broc enough though and puddled at the bottom. Also a bit the butter taste was a bit overwhelming.

Old Fashioned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2007
I was looking for something "new" to make with potatoes and came upon this recipe. It was delicious! I chopped up a couple of pickles instead of relish and I used a red onion but I am sure it would have been just as tasty either way. A new favorite to goes great with shake n'bake at my house!

This was good but a bit mushy even though I did saute the rice as suggested. I will make it again.

Perfection! Also works with half white flour/whole wheat and just as tasty! Add blueberrie, chocolate chips, or mashed banana and...heaven!

Ok but missing some flavor....also the sauce didn't thicken enough maybe needs a drop more cornstarch.
