I used a small can of sliced mushrooms instead of fresh because I had it on hand. Since we had some errands to run I also cooked this is my Dutch oven on about 250 for 2 hours after browning the chops on stove in the Dutch oven and adding other ingredients in. The chops turned out tender but not mushy and the flavor was out of this world! My hubby raved all night about it and ate all the leftovers by himself the next day! My picky 9 yr old, who won't touch a veg, ate 2 helpings! I served with steamed white rice and green beans and some crusty french bread. Hubby has already put in a request to have it again. Thanks!
