Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
The texture of the final product is perfect! I used a cookie scoop. After baked I placed cookies and powdered sugar in a tupperware container and gently shook. No mess!

Cheesecake Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
Made these for Thanksgiving and they were a huge hit! Absolutely delicious. I melted my butter for the crust to save time and the crust turned out perfect shortbread texture. If you have a favorite lemon bar recipe then just add the cheesecake part on top of it!

Springtime Strawberry Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2011
Didn't have lemon zest or almonds so I added a few drops of lemon & almond extract and substituted 3/4 c of oats for the almonds. Absolutely wonderful!

Fudge Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2010
Huge hit. I didn't have any biscuit mix on hand so I used pancake mix and used only 1 1/2 c brown sugar. I also used rolled oats and no nuts. They turned out perfectly. Also baked them in a cookie sheet. Highly recommended!

Easy Tomato Soup Spice Cake

Reviewed: May 31, 2010
These have a definate tomato soup "twang" to them. If you're looking for a substitute for oil...stick with applesauce. : )

Holiday Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
This was a huge hit at Thanksgiving. Instead of water i cooked the berries in orange juice. I also used ground spices instead of whole spices. Just whatever spices you and your family enjoy. Easy and delicious. : )

Cinnamon Coffee Cake II

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2009
This tasted like butterscotch cake instead of coffee cake. I would recommend using 2 vanilla pudding mixes.

This cake is fabulous! So rich, so moist, so delicious!! I only had light sour cream in the refrigerator and it turned out perfect. I also used butter flavor Crisco instead of butter.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
I used a package of Hidden Valley Ranch mix instead of the Italian. I also used used a family size can of soup and 8 oz of light sour cream. This turned out soooo good. It was a tad on the salty side which is fine for me because we like our food a little salty...however, I think without the extra soup and sour cream it would have been even a little salty for us. Using the Italian vs the Ranch may make a difference in the salt as well.

Baklava

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
Soooo Good! 1 lb of nuts was a little much for me. So I used maybe half of that. Next time I make this I think I'm going to experiment with using maple flavor instead of vanilla. : )

Easy Decadent Truffles

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
Creamy, rich, and easy. I used low fat cream cheese and only 2 c of chocolate chips - I only had 1 bag in the house. Used a cookie scooper and didn't roll or coat them in anything. This recipe seriously took like 10-15 minutes from start to licking the bowl.

Maple Butter

Yummy! This is a very sweet recipe. You can easily cut the sugar in half with out cutting out any flavor. Used on homemade biscutis.

Absolutely delicious! I used low fat sour cream, 1/2 c applesauce and 1/2 c oil, and mini milk chocolate vs semisweet. So moist and rich you don't need frosting!!

Oreo® Cookie Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2009
Absolutely Delicious!! Instead of layering the cream cheese and pudding - I just mixed it all together and made only 1 layer. I also used low fat cream cheese and cool whip and couldn't tell anything was missing at all!!!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2008
The brownies were absolutely rich and delicious. The frosting however was good, but not pretty. I literally had to take napkins and sop up extra butter pooling on top of the frosting.

Toffee Caramel Squares

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
I made these for a family reunion and the were devoured!!! I will have to say however, the crust calls for WAY to much butter. You can easily cut in half. For my crust I used 2/3 c butter and upped the flour to 1 3/4 c. I doubled the filling and made it in a 9x13.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
Absolutely delicious!! I am not a big fan of chunks so I put my chilis with the juice and jalapenos in a food processor till smooth. I also added 1/2 t salt and more jalapenos for extra heat. : ) I used lowfat everything...so I could eat more of it and not feel guilty. Because trust me, you're going to want to eat more of it!!!

Peanut Butter Cookie Candy Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
Very rich. Similar to a snickers candy bar. Instead of the cookie mix, I just used my usual peanut butter recipe and used probably 3/4 of it in the bottom of the pan. The last step, skip the extra dirty dishes and just sprinkle the chocolate chips over the caramel when it is still hot. Wait for the chips to melt - maybe 60 sec or so. Then spread them with a knife.
