Hot Fudge Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
This is great as written but I prefer to use six squares of bittersweet chocolate. Also, do not cook too long, that is what makes it gummy when it hits your ice cream. I like to remove it from the heat before the chocolate is all the way melted, just keep stirring and it will melt but it won't cook too much this way.

Blue Cheese Coleslaw

I really enjoyed the flavor of this, the bacon made it quite good. I did not have tomatoes, so left those out. Went will with buffalo chicken sandwiches.

Mediterranean Puff Pastry Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2009
Excellent flavor. I got four servings out of this by rolling the dough thinner and cutting it in half and using four chicken breast halves. Made very large servings with plenty of pastry. Next time I will slice or dice my chicken first.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
These were very good muffins. I followed the recipe exactly and got 12 regular sized muffins and filled the cups almost full. The topping is a nice touch. Watch the cooking time, the shortest time was probably a couple minutes too long in my oven.

Mom's Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2009
This is a great meal, tastes just like my mom's! I also added a can of corn and had to use a little extra tomato sauce. Also, I completely missed the step of adding water and flour but it turned out wonderful anyway. Will definitely make again.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
Very good flavor and the taste/texture is just like stuffing out of the bird. I added more sage to our liking and next time will use a little less liquid since mine turned out too moist. The convenience of the slow cooker is great. Will make again.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
Yummy cookies! I halved this recipe and cooked in a 9x13 for thicker bars, soft in the middle, chewy on the outside. Perfect.

Easy Sausage Strata

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
Very yummy! I cut the salt in half, you can always add more to your own serving. My pan was too deep (it wasn't a 7 x 11) and it took a long, long time to cook through. I look forward to trying again with the right pan.

The Best Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
This is a great meatloaf. Very flavorful. I used dry bread crumbs since that's what I had, chose A1 Steak Sauce and left out the green pepper. Very moist and not bland at all.

Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
We've used this brine on our Thanksgiving turkey for the last two years and it is fantastic. We store it in the garage over night since it's cold enough and we never have room in the fridge at the holidays. We grill our turkey and it is the absolute best we've had.

Chocolate Billionaires

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
These were wonderful! The caramels took quite a while to melt but the recipe is fairly easy. Will definitely make again and these will be added to our annual Christmas candy making party.

Fajita Marinade I

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
This marinade is very tasty. We made the recipe as is and we also made it with lemon juice instead of lime and added some New Mexico chili powder and cumin for extra spice. Either way is good, very versatile recipe. Worked great with steak or chicken.

Eleanor's Seven Layer Squares

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
These are so good. My grandmother has this exact recipe and we have been making it for years. It is fun to experiment with the new flavored chips you find at the grocery store, like peanut butter, mint or cherry.
