Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
I used this recipe for an apple pie and it turned out deliciously! My boyfriend ate half the pie because he loved the crust soo much. I will definitely be adding this to my arsenal of recipes!

Lemon Barbeque Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2007
My boyfriend loves lemon and when we made this he adored it...we've made it every other week since them. The lemon flavor comes through nicely and is not overpowering. Thanks for sharing this one with us.

Honey Nut Granola

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2007
My boyfriend and I made this because we couldn't find our favorite cereal at the store for weeks. This is our new favorite cereal!! We also added raisins and M&M's for a hiking snack. We baked ours for the regular time and it got a little crispy on the bottom shelf, so next time we will put it on the top shelf or in for less time. Delicious!

Fra Diavolo Sauce With Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2007
Made this for my boyfriend because he loves spicy food and he loved it. We didn't simmer the sauce for the time specified because we were soo hungry, but we still got the spicy hotness. I didn't use as much red pepper flake as mentioned either and it was still quite spicy. I also only used shrimp, no scallops. Very good recipe, thanks for sharing.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
My boyfriend and I made this and it was absolutely delicious!! As noted by other reviewers we only used salt to taste and less red pepper flake (I can't take too much spice) and even my boyfriend who adores spicy food thought it was spicy...which is good. We will definitely be making more of this, next time a double batch to freeze for later. Thanks for sharing!

California Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2010
These are fantastic. My boyfriend and I made them on the grill and the marinade was delicious as well as the veg. The only thing I would day is be certain to get a good cut of steak. We made the mistake of not using sirloin and it was a bit tough, even with the marinade.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 6, 2010
I've tried other banana breads and this is by far the best! I halved it and used one banana and it turned out beautifully. I sprinkled cinnamon on top, otherwise went directly by the directions. Love!

Absolutely Awesome BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2008
My boyfriend and I made this to go with some meatballs we made...yum yum! We put it in the slow cooker with the meatballs and used scotch instead of rum because we didn't have any, but the sauce was absolutely delicious. I ate the meatballs for lunch the next say and they may have even tasted better with the sauce.

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: May 6, 2010
My friends loved this carmel corn!! I made it for the season opener party (Red Sox vs Yankees) so we could have "cracker jacks" they said it was even more delicious than that! I would recommend taking out all the unpopped kernals before starting (even the semi-popped ones). And if you can choose popcorn that pops fully that is best.

Mexican Baked Fish

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
This was yummy! My boyfriend loves Mexican food and adding fish to our selection is great! We have made this with Haddock and Halibut and prefer the Halibut, but both were tasty. We paired it with Spanish rice made with quinoa instead of rice.

We really enjoyed this recipe! We used Quinoa instead of rice as we are trying to reduce carbs, but cooked everything the same and it worked out really well!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2010
This cornbread could not have been more delicious! My boyfriend loves cornbread and we've generally loved Jiffy, but couldn't find it. This recipe baked up moist delicious cornbread that rivaled any store brand. We did add some canned sweet corn for flavor!

Butter Chickpea Curry

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
We've made this several times and its always a hit. Garam Masala was hard to find, but we could definitely tell the difference when it wasn't included. We substituted heavy cream for soy milk and it was just as delicious, although not as thick. It's a tasty veggie dinner that we served with whole wheat couscous or quinoa.

Snickerdoodles II

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2007
I love making cookies when I get bored, and I can make these with ingredients I always have in the pantry. I use extra cream of tartar because I like the extra kick. You should try adding butterscotch chips too...my co-workers loved it!

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
I made this tonight for my girlfriends and they all loved it! It had the right amount of spice and flavor, and I mostly followed all the directions (no oregano, spicy chili beans or green chile peppers). Leftovers will definitely make a great lunch next week!
