Lasagna Roll Ups

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2007
I made these with my boyfriend and they were lacking flavor a bit. We decided to make them again but added a variety of peppers and more seasoning and they were better. We even added meat for one batch.

Granny's Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2009
Delicious brownies! I did take the recommendations of other reviewers and cook them at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes in a glass dish. They came out lovely and moist, but could definitely use some chocolate chips (I LOVE chocolate)

Cornbread and Sausage Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
I've made this two Thanksgivings in a row and one Christmas, and it's ALWAYS a hit! So much so that my sister asked for the recipe and made it for her friends Thanksgiving party. If you don't like traditional stuffing, or just love cornbread, this is definitely the way to go! I made it just as described.

Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2011
These are yummy! I will say, I floured, egged, and breaded the fish then put it in the oven at 400 for 6 minutes on each side. Resulted in crispy delicious fish that were healthier than fried ones. Yum!

Company Couscous

This was really good. We actually didn't put the balsamic vinegar in it and it was still nice and flavorful!

Angie's Dad's Best Cabbage Coleslaw

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2010
Delicious, but especially after sitting for longer. My boyfriend and I made this to compliment our BBQ and it turned out delicously. We used pre-packaged slaw greens and followed the recipe exactly. I would say that using apple cider vinegar may impart for flavor for next time.

Two Ingredient Pumpkin Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2006
I made this recipe for my coworkers on Halloween and everyone absolutely loved it! So much so, that I had to make it again three days later. I did take the advice of the other reviewers and added two eggs. The batter was pretty thick, but resulted in delicious cupcakes with cream cheese frosting!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2011
Made this with my Fiance on Sunday to freeze for the rest of the week and it turned out pretty well. My only caveat (much like others) is that you need to make more of the ricotta mixture. We barely had enough to cover the layers (and certainly not as much as we would have liked).

Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
Delicious and simple chicken parm recipe! I made this for my fiance last night because we hadn't planned in advance but had all the ingredients for this already. It was kind of a throwback to NYC where we spent many years and chicken parm is a staple. It took a bit of time to make, but we followed "somethingdifferentagain?!'s" modifications and it came out delicious. Parm and italian seasonings in the bread crumbs, baked on rack on cookie sheet to maintain crisp-ness, no sauce on top for second bake. Overall turned out quite well, and I will definitely make it again!

Sukhothai Pad Thai

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2010
We couldn't find tamarind or dried oriental radish, so made the recipe as directed without it and it tasted delicious! I'm sure it would be even better had we included it, but alas those are tough ingredients to find.

Cheese Biscuits II

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
These turned out pretty well. They puffed up nicely, but could use a little more flavor. I added bacon, but maybe a touch more salt. Overall they were very good!

Paella I

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2009
This recipe was just ok. It lacked a lot of flavor, which we tried to compensate for by adding our own blend of spices. I would recommend that to anyone trying this. We added cumin, cayenne, and others. We did like the rice though...nice texture.

Absolutely Awesome BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2008
My boyfriend and I made this to go with some meatballs we made...yum yum! We put it in the slow cooker with the meatballs and used scotch instead of rum because we didn't have any, but the sauce was absolutely delicious. I ate the meatballs for lunch the next say and they may have even tasted better with the sauce.

These were quite tasty, very Italian influenced. We grilled ours up outside and loved the flavor the grill imparted.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 6, 2010
I've tried other banana breads and this is by far the best! I halved it and used one banana and it turned out beautifully. I sprinkled cinnamon on top, otherwise went directly by the directions. Love!

Tortillas I

Reviewed: May 6, 2010
These are great when you can get them thin enough. We don't have a tortilla press, so its kind of difficult, but we have managed and they turned out with a nice texture and delicious. Even after keeping one day in the fridge they were still good.

We really enjoyed this recipe! We used Quinoa instead of rice as we are trying to reduce carbs, but cooked everything the same and it worked out really well!

Luscious Lemon Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2008
I made these for my boyfriend's birthday as he loves lemon...and he adored them. I think he ate half of them before dinner. I decided to make cupcakes (I don't have a bundt pan) and they turned out quite deliciously. The only thing is that it was a bit difficult to get the lemon drizzle to go into the cupcakes instead of all over the counter. We poked holes in the top of each one with a fork and that seemed to work pretty well. Thanks for sharing!
