Two Ingredient Pumpkin Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2006
I made this recipe for my coworkers on Halloween and everyone absolutely loved it! So much so, that I had to make it again three days later. I did take the advice of the other reviewers and added two eggs. The batter was pretty thick, but resulted in delicious cupcakes with cream cheese frosting!

Garlic Cheese Chicken Rollups

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2006
Amazing! I made this for my roommate and myself (I'm an admittedly bad cook) and we both really loved the recipe. I used Garlic and herb trempherbe because it was the only cheese spread I could find at Whole Foods...it turned out deliciously! Yummy!

Pasta with Broccoli and Bacon

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2006
Tasty recipe...bacon gives the sauce a nice flavor, although next time I think I will use more bacon to bring out that flavor.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
This is a good recipe, although the brown sugar doesn't get all the way into the smokies...I didn't read the reviews about shaking the bacon and smokies in brown sugar until after I cooked them, but I will definitely do that next time for a fuller taste!

Texas Enchilada Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2007
My boyfriend and I made this last night and it was delicious. It tastes like real enchilada sauce. We did substitute crushed tomatos for tomato paste and water because of the comments about texture and we don't have a blender or food procesor. And we completely left out chili powder (we didn't have any). Tastes good to us!

Snickerdoodles II

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2007
I love making cookies when I get bored, and I can make these with ingredients I always have in the pantry. I use extra cream of tartar because I like the extra kick. You should try adding butterscotch chips too...my co-workers loved it!

Lemon Barbeque Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2007
My boyfriend loves lemon and when we made this he adored it...we've made it every other week since them. The lemon flavor comes through nicely and is not overpowering. Thanks for sharing this one with us.

Honey Nut Granola

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2007
My boyfriend and I made this because we couldn't find our favorite cereal at the store for weeks. This is our new favorite cereal!! We also added raisins and M&M's for a hiking snack. We baked ours for the regular time and it got a little crispy on the bottom shelf, so next time we will put it on the top shelf or in for less time. Delicious!

Fra Diavolo Sauce With Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2007
Made this for my boyfriend because he loves spicy food and he loved it. We didn't simmer the sauce for the time specified because we were soo hungry, but we still got the spicy hotness. I didn't use as much red pepper flake as mentioned either and it was still quite spicy. I also only used shrimp, no scallops. Very good recipe, thanks for sharing.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
My boyfriend and I made this and it was absolutely delicious!! As noted by other reviewers we only used salt to taste and less red pepper flake (I can't take too much spice) and even my boyfriend who adores spicy food thought it was spicy...which is good. We will definitely be making more of this, next time a double batch to freeze for later. Thanks for sharing!

Lasagna Spirals

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
I made this for my boyfriend because we are trying to eat less meat, but it was admittedly lacking some flavor. We used italian seasoning, but it needed something. Next time I think we will put sauce in the spirals instead of just on top.

Lasagna Roll Ups

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2007
I made these with my boyfriend and they were lacking flavor a bit. We decided to make them again but added a variety of peppers and more seasoning and they were better. We even added meat for one batch.

Luscious Lemon Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2008
I made these for my boyfriend's birthday as he loves lemon...and he adored them. I think he ate half of them before dinner. I decided to make cupcakes (I don't have a bundt pan) and they turned out quite deliciously. The only thing is that it was a bit difficult to get the lemon drizzle to go into the cupcakes instead of all over the counter. We poked holes in the top of each one with a fork and that seemed to work pretty well. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely Awesome BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2008
My boyfriend and I made this to go with some meatballs we made...yum yum! We put it in the slow cooker with the meatballs and used scotch instead of rum because we didn't have any, but the sauce was absolutely delicious. I ate the meatballs for lunch the next say and they may have even tasted better with the sauce.

Basic Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
I made this recipe using Neufchatel (low fat cream cheese) instead of regular cream cheese, and it came our deliciously. I did make a couple of modifications in order to make it slightly more healthy...I used about 1/3 less butter and half the sugar...it was plenty sweet after the first half. Delicious though!
