Sweet Hot Mustard Chicken Thighs

This was excellent! I'm not a big Dijon mustard fan. But this was really good! I would definitely do it again! I didn't have red wine vinegar and used apple cider vinegar. Didn't have cayenne and used red pepper flakes. I'm usually a purist to sticking to the recipe as written. But I'm broke! So buying additional stuff just wasn't happening this week!

Asian Ginger Dressing

Just made this dressing this morning before work. Very simple, and threw it all in a blender. I took the advice of another rater (I think healthycook) and substituted the soy sauce for Bragg's liquid amino acids and used agave instead of honey. Additionally, I used organic powdered ginger as the grocery store did not have 1 single piece of ginger in it! Very odd! Anyway, it was delcious! Also, I used 1 pretty big garlic clove. I wish I had cut it in half as the garlic is still lingering even though I have been done with my salad for an hour now! I would also use less liquid aminos. It's salty just like soy sauce. I'm more of a spice person vs. salt; plus I have high blood pressure. Will make this again and maybe make it spicy hot!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

I found this recipe on 6/2. I am a simple type of cook! I don't like alot fuss & definitely not alot of mess! Plus I like things to have fresh & simple taste! I wasn't really sure about the cream cheese, but figured I would give this recipe a try. It was very easy to make,extremely creamy, and tasty!!! Since I don't use whole milk, I used 1% milk and also fresh garlic. I think because I used 1% milk, it didn't quite thicken like I wanted that night. Plus I made the sauce pretty late at night. So I would imagine it would have thickened a bit better had I made the sauce at a more reasonable dinner hour. I probably could have let it thicken a little while on medium heat. But again, it was late & I was hungry! I definitely will use this recipe again! I may try it with light cream cheese and 1% milk to see how that comes out! 6/26- I made this recipe again and decided to do it with whole milk this time. I was making it for me and my boyfriend at his place. Not sure if it was his stove or what. But when I tried to melt the cream cheese, it really just wouldn't melt. So intstead of just wasting it, I put the melted butter and 'sort of' melted cream cheese in a blender. Then I added the 2 cups of milk, garlic, a bit of salt and pepper. That all blended very well! Lastly I put that mixture bank on the stove to heat it up and added the parmesan cheese. It thickened really quickly! My boyfriend loved it and said it was extremely creamy! I loved it too! Honey Baked Chicken II

I found this recipe yesterday and used it last night to cook some boneless chicken thighs! It was excellent! I liked the taste and how easy it was to make. The sauce is pretty thin. But it was great to serve over rice. But I did follow the one person's advice about changing the cooking time and temp to 400 degrees for 40 minutes. It came out perfect...didn't even need a knife to cut the meat! I did not use curry because I don't have any and don't really like it. I used garlic and cinnamon as well! I thought cinnamon would go well with the honey.

Fusion Chili

I have not made the chili and got the recipe from a co-worker who did make it for a few work functions. There was not even 1 bean left in the pot!!! Everyone loved it! I gave the recipe to my Sister last year for a super bowl party. She said people were loading the chili in take home containers!!! It is a big hit! I am going to try my hand at the chili this year! Hopefully I will make it a successful dish!!
