When I first married I started with only a handful of recipes. Over the last 10 years I've grown to enjoy cooking more than I would have ever imagined. I love it when I find something that the family really enjoys and when I ask what they would like for a special meal - they respond with one of my dishes (and not fast food).
My favorite things to cook
I love everything but baking for some reason. I do bake, but I don't experience the same fun I do when I'm cooking in other ways.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't really have any cooking traditions passed down from my family, but I am working to change that! I would like to pass along new traditions to my kids.
My cooking triumphs
All the ones that I didn't wreck! LOL
My cooking tragedies
To this day my husband reminds me of the time I tried to prepare a navy bean soup (my father's recipe). It was a disaster! When I ask about trying a new recipe he responds: "As long as it's not another one of those bean recipes."
