Rum Cake I

This came out pretty good. I had to substitute Brandy for the rum and I also used a spice cake for a richer flavor. I added the sauce while it was hot and packed it into the fridge overnight. I could tell it was a box cake though, thing is, it wouldn't keep me from making this cake again, so thanks!

Wisconsin Bratwurst

The best! Don't pierce the brats and try a rich, full bodied beer on these. One of my most requested cookout dishes! Thanks for the great recipe.

Sugarless Bars

I could not find dates without added sugar so I substituted currants. I also added three cinnamon sticks to the bubbling fruit and butter and also a splash of brandy, I added two teaspoons pumpkin pie spice and toasted my walnuts before adding them to the batter. These came out so good! I kept them in the fridge overnight and they were even better, great recipe!

The Best Lemon Bars

I made these for Easter, and they were so so good! Use real butter for a flaky crust. I added a couple Tablespoons more lemon juice & also about 2 tsp. grated zest because I really love that lemon flavor, these totally delivered. After giving the finished bars a good dusting of powder sugar, I topped with plenty of toasted coconut. Try these!

Rich Chocolate Frosting

This is a great chocolate frosting- I didn't find it too sweet and turns out nice and fluffy, both great things when you are piling it on cupcakes. My advice is to make this a night ahead and fridge it so the cocoa flavor can really mellow and the flavors can come together- but be sure to remove it from the fridge at least a half hour before using because its pretty hard otherwise. Also, half the recipe made a ton!

Pumpkin Cake I

This was a good hefty cake. I added more spice and it wasn't ruined. I also added some miniature chocolate chips. Turned out good. Will definitely make again as you could play with alot of combinations on this one, thanks for the recipe!
