Sunny Corn Bread Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
I rated this a 4. Instead of buttermilk, I used milk & added a cap full of vinegar to the milk. Next time I will double receipe as it only made 6 muffins. Will print out & save.

Peach Cobbler V

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
I rate this a 4. It was good but the bottom was burnt & a bit tough. I think I used too much butter on the bottom. I used 2 cans of peaches, probably could have thrown in another can. Will give it another try.

5 star. I made these cookies because my grandson loves peanut butter cookies. I don't think there's very many left. This is a saver & will print it out. Thanks Anita.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
Very good. I browned meat first & then put in cooker. I used sour cream but just put a dollup on top, otherwise it melts in the sauce. Had green beans , egg noodles & salad. I will print this out as it is a saver. I rate this a 5.

This was just okay. Nothing special. The sauce didn't turn out very well. However I may try it again. Perhaps just not my day!!

This was a very nice loaf. Enjoyed it with a cup of tea. Only thing I didn't add was the nuts. Next time I will throw in a few raisins. Thanks Dakota, this is a saver & will print it out for further use.

Slow Cooker Sweet and Tangy Chicken

This was absolutely delicious & a keeper. My family loved it. Poured rest of sauce over rice. I just used 1 bottle of BBQ sauce & that was enough. Thanks Jan.

Grilled Salmon with Curried Peach Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
I liked this curried peach sauce. However I took the advice of another person & used much less honey. I tested this out on my family & they did not like it, just because they are not curry lovers.

Blueberry Cream Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2008
I don't even like blueberry muffins as they are so dry. However, as I had a bunch of blueberries, decided to make some. Well...these are delicious & I will certainly make them again very soon as I only made half the amount. Thank you for this great muffin recipe.

Loved this soup but way too much barley. I used only half a cup & there was still too much. Overtook the rest of the vegetables.

Butternut Squash Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2008
Oh so good. What I do with butternut squash is cut in half, then quarter. Put in microwave oven & cook for 5 min. 2 pieces at a time. I just scoop out the squash. I didn't add any curry or cumin but when I re-heat this soup, I will put some in. Thanks for the tip. Definitely a saver!

Cabbage Soup II

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2007
This soup is soooo good & filling. I added potato along with cabbage & carrots. I forgot to do the noodles but really didn't need them. I also left out the ham (I'm on a low cholesterol). Just a hint. If you don't want to use a can of chicken broth (high in salt & fat), go to a bulk food store. You can get the powder chicken & beef. Mix it with water. There is no salt nor MSG. I will make this soup often. Full meal!

Very good & easy. For the noodles I stirred in some garlic dressing, then added the sweet peppers. Was a hit! Ooop...I forgot to add some parmesan cheese on top as suggested by one reader.
