Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2011
I replaced the butter with unsweetened applesauce to cut the fat & cholesterol. And added 1/2 cup chocolate chips as an added treat. The result was a moist delicious muffin that I will definately make again.

Overnight Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2007
Very easy dish. It had a good flavor. I'm not a big fan of celery, next time I'll mix it with a cream of mushroom. My husband really liked it, and my 1 year old ate it.

Slow Cooker Bean Casserole AKA Sweet Chili

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2007
A very easy chili. It had an ok flavor, but was way too sweet for my family. I think I'll just stick with my own chili recipe.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2007
I added a bag of frozen mixed veggies for my 1 yr old. We all love it, my husband says he wouldn't mind having this several times a week. I prefer to use the bisquik mix to make dumplings instead of the canned biscuits. The biscuits are good; but the bisquick puffs into little round pieces of light, fluffy, perfectly cooked bread pieces.

No-Peek Beef Stew

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2007
I added a can of sliced carrots & a can of diced potatoes to add some veggies for my 1 yr old. Everyone loved it. I even got rave reviews from my mother & sister (both excellent cooks themselves). I will definately be making this again.

Slow Cooker Sweet and Tangy Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2007
The barbecue flavor was too strong for me and I used 14 oz of honey barbecue sauce. I had thought this might be more of a pacific-rim fusion type of flavor, but really it was just barbecued chicken.

Easy Alfredo Sauce II

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2007
Very quick & easy. I made mine in the blender - the sauce was more thick than frothy but it did go on the noodles well.
