Dog Treats I

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2008
Thank you for this recipe. We have two Mastiffs, who are big snackers. So I am always on the lookout for homemade treats. I made these this morning, and I guess I don't need to worry about the shelflife :) I used chicken stock, and garlic, also I only had a 4 blend cheese. These smelled so yummy I was tempted. I did not have a bone cookie cutter so I used a ginger bread man. Which turned out really cute. Another treat my pups really love are ice cubes. So I put chicken or beef stock in ice cube trays, and they love that as a summer treat. It's not enough of a recipe to earn it's own spot on here, but I thought your pups might enjoy it.

Eclairs II

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
These are so yummy, I am only allowed to make these every couple of months. My boys will eat them all in one evening. They are time consuming , but worth the extra effort. I always make the mini eclairs. We are not big chocolate lovers so I dip a fork in the chocolate and drizzle Jackson Pollack style. Yummy.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
This was the first recipe I used from this site 6 years ago. It is still a fmily favorite. I don't like enchiladas served any other way any more. Thank you for this recipe, this is my go to meal when I need a crowd pleaser without to much hassle. The only variation I ever make from the original recipe is the campells roast garlic cream of mushroom. Yummy....

Basil Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
Thank you for this recipe. My herb garden is overrun with basil, and I have been lookig for some new ways to use it up. This sauce is so flavorful. I will make this again and again. It also freezes great, I defrosted a bag yesterday and served it over sausage tortellini. With a mixed salad and some garlic bread it tasted like I spent hours in the kitchen :)

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
I really enjoyed this salad. I did not change a thing, next time I will use half the red onions suggested. I found then a little overpowering. I agree with other rewiers best the next day or two. Hubby and kids werent crazy about it, but that just left more for me....

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
This is a staple in house for summer get togethers. So easy to make and always a big hit. The only change I make is the mixture of fruit and jam. Whatever is in season goes in the salsa. So fresh and yummy, sometimes i sprinkle it with chopped mint. Great way to sneak fruit passed the kids :)

Ice Cream Cone Treats

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
I made these with my 6 year old daughter and her friends this weekend. What a nice change from the usual cupcakes. they were fun and easy to make for the little ones. Even the dogs were happy with all the sprinkles on the floor :) I agree with the other rewiers these are best when fresh, although there weren't too many of those....

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
The standing joke in our house is my roast chicken. Even with a meat thermometer and enough butter to chocke your arteries my chicken is always well done and dry. I have finally broken the curse. This chicken is so flavorful and moist. I used butter( we just prefer the taste). I also put extra garlic in the cavity. I can't wait to make this again, maybe nest time I will put some lemon zest and parsley in with my butter rub.

Laurie's Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
Wonderful, I have made these 5 times already and each time they are a hit with the whole family. My teenage son loves these so much I always make extra. The only change I make is italian sausage instead of pork, and parmesan and mozerella in place of asiago.
