About this Cook
I'm 28 years old and a mother of two boys. Anthony is 3 and Ashton is 1. I have been married for 4 and a half years. I have my masters in Social Work. I am currently a stay at home mom.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake. I bake almost every day. I believe I have perfected the chocolate chip cookie. I like trying new things. I am Italian so macaroni and meatball's is a Sunday must!!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
we are italian, so we have thetradition of Holiday soup it has been the family for many, many years. We have it at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. It is served before the entree. It is really terrific
My cooking triumphs
I guess it would the chocolate chip cookie and my apple crumb pie.
My cooking tragedies
I just can't get the hang of cooking steak! I never seemed to cook it right. It is either still ready to walk off the plate or like a tire. I hope I get it right someday.

Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies
I use the same exact recipe but you do not have to use the rolled oats you can just use the flour 2 1/2 cups will work just fine and the cookies taste the exact same. It will save you time!!!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
I thought these cookies were pretty good. I added 1 1/2 brown sugar made the white sugar to 1/2 added m ore vanilla. I also put the cookie dough in the fridge for 20 minutes to harden the dough a bit. I also of course baked on parchment.

Apple Crumb Pie
I must admit when I saw all the great reviews about thus recipe I could not wait to make it for my family. I have been baking for a very long time so I am very famialiar with how to make pies. This recipe was just plain awful. I followed the directions completly. It looked great when it came out of the oven. I don't what could have happened. My husband said it was the worst pie I have ever made. So this will not be a tradition in my house. Maybe everyone has different taste.
