Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
I have been searching for years for a chocolate chip cookie recipe that is soft and that my family loves. I have tried so many but my search has finally ended. I love these cookies and so does my family. I made the recipe exactly as written for ingredients but halved it. The cookies turn out great, they spread perfectly, not alot, but enough that they don't stay in 'balls'. And they stay soft for days. I think the pudding mix is a great add in for cookies. I would recommend this recipe to anyone who is searching for a good chocolate chip cookie. Thanks for submitting!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
These brownies were darn tasty. I did not make the frosting, and made them in a 9x13 pan as suggested. Kids ate them up, lasted less than a day. Very simple to make. They were moist. Will make them again, but may add choc chips or frosting.

Cheddar Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
This recipe tasted great and was so easy, I had all ingredients on hand. I followed the recipe exactly, but I crushed up the crispy rice cereal a bit. The chicken came out very moist -not dry at all. I baked it for about 50 minutes because the chicken breasts I used were still partially frozen. My kids ate it all up. Will definitely make it again. Thanks!

Peanut Butter Fudge Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2007
These are awesome bars. I followed the recipe exactly, but I felt guilty using all of the chocolate mixture, there was so much. So I saved over a half cup to use as an ice cream topper, since it is actual fudge. The bars are very rich, so cut into small triangles. I brought them to work to share and they were a hit. Good Christmas/holiday treat too. This reminds me a lot of a recipe I've made called Chocolate Revel Bars, but this is so much easier, using the cake mix makes it quick.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2006
This was excellent. Didn't change a thing. Used a heavier beer, Fat Tire. Gives it a robust flavor. Family loved it, shared recipe with extended family. 12/20/08 update: Served at a family Xmas dinner this last weekend. They thought it was prime rib. Lots of compliments. I used two roast totalling about 6.5 to 7 lbs. 2 cans of each soup and one bottle of Budweiser in a very large crock pot. Any more wouldn't fit in crock pot. Cooked all day on low. Served on Artisan buns from a local bakery. Very very good.
