My favorite place to buy spices . . .
Bay Leaves, Whole Ginger, Coriander Powder, Whole Nutmeg, Annatto Powder and the freebies - Madagascar Vanilla Beans and Black Lava Sea Salt. They always let you pick one freebie, and they always have a monthly freebie that they send. This month it was the Vanilla Beans. I make homemade Vanilla Extract with them. They also offer free shipping with a $40 order, but I never order that much at one time.

For me, an unbelievably good deal! $13, $4 shipping for a grand total of $17. Fast shipping with tracking.

Baby Tree Frog, found a great hiding space!

I love to make my own spice mixes up - here are a couple of new ones I am going to try . . .

The spices do look great! We had a tree frog that took up residence under our hot tub cover along the side of the hot tub. He stayed there all summer long last year. Wonder if he'll be back...

The site says they DO ship to Canada, for a flat rate of $15. Not sure how Customs would feel about some of their items though. But I think most would be fine, especially since I guess they'd all be considered commercially packaged goods.

I love MySpiceSage! I think they ship free to Canada for orders over $75. They have some nice curry powders, too. I liked their Tuscan Seasoning Blend also.

I've never heard of this website! Thank you for sharing. Usually when I'm looking for something unique I go to Penzey's Spices but they can be expensive. Can't wait to try out this website. Thanks again! :)

Oh my goodness. I would have freaked if I saw that frog "in person"! It's so big! And that's the baby? I think I would save money at that site. Have you heard of Penzey's spices? More overhead, so more costly, I'd say. But you can go in the store and "sniff" the samples.

This is exactly what I need! Besides free shipping, which is atrocious on several other sites I've used, I love the "different sizes" options-- I buy anywhere between 1 ounce and 1 pound for our tribe! Thanks for the recommendation!
