Can anyone tell me what kind of plant this is? It's taking over & I'd like to research it. I usually keep the tags on the plants, but can't find it on this one.  Sorry, the sun was shining weirdly & I didn't get very good pics. Here is a fuller version.  And, I'd also like to know what… MORE

Baked Denver Omelet
Yummy, filling breakfast. I saw this in the AR magazine and loved the tip about sauteing the veggies in the oven. Brilliant, why haven't I ever thought of that?? I'm a lazy cook so I loved this tip. I used cut up bacon, cooked it for a bit til it was starting to brown, then added some packaged hash browns that needed to be used up, tossed those in with finely chopped onion, jalapeno, bell pepper and banana pepper (all from my garden and needed to be used). I used buttermilk and a splash of half and half. I obviously can't read correctly because I thought it said 350 and I'm so glad I did that. Mine was a tad bit overcooked at 350. I can imagine at 400 it's way overcooked. I left out the butter since the bacon provided some grease. I used 1 less egg and less cheese (a mix of sharp cheddar and jalapeno jack). We like things spicy. Ate it with a hatch green chili salsa. Husband ate it in a corn tortilla. Very good, thanks for the recipe.

Oven Fried Potatoes I
5++ stars. When my husband tells me to keep a recipe, that's serious business, lol! I only had 4 russets so that's what I used. I used 3 T of butter and a bit less bacon (only because bacon is like gold in this house). I also added a small bell pepper from the garden and next time I'll add a jalapeno. I had to cook mine longer and I added sharp cheese at the end. They were glorious and reminded my husband of Irish Potatoes that we used to get when we were in college from a local pub type restaurant.

Oven Fried Chicken II
We really loved this chicken. I didn't use that much oil and I played around with the recipe a bit using buttermilk instead of eggs and playing around with the breading ingredients but I liked this method with the oil a lot. I make a lot of oven fried chicken and this was really good. I did have a mix of drumsticks and thighs and the drumsticks seemed to work better.
