I loved this recipe, and so did my husband! I only did a few things different, per other's reviews. I added 1/2 of a chopped white onion and 1 clove of garlic to the meat mixture. Also, I added 1 can of Cream of Mushroom soup and 1 packet of dry onion soup mix to the sauce mixture and I elimnated the salt all around since the soups have more than enough salt to go around! I added water to thin the sauce out a bit, and also to dillute it since it was a little on the salty side. I doubled the amount of sauce, to accomodate for my mashed potatoes! Also, I seared the patties on the stovetop before transfering them to a foil lined casserole dish and baked them at 400 degrees for 50 minutes (I like my meat WELL done!) - they turned out PERFECTLY - juicy and tender, not dry or rough at all!
