Pecan Turtle Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
The taste was amazing, I took the advice of others & increased the flour as well...however, I did have to cook it for 15 mins longer than suggested.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2010
This was so delicious and moist the meat was falling off the bone. I did it on a rack and the bottom side was a little softer because it had more contact with the steaming process, but that was the only downfall if that?

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
wow, I just made these cookies and I'm eating one right now as I speak. They are sooo good! I didn't use one ounce of white sugar, but instead used mostly brown sugar and a few tablespoons of sweet n low. Make sure you mix the dough till you can barely move the spoon around so it's easier to spoon before the baking sheet. I made 12 big PB cookies and they actually ended up forming together (oops!) next time I'll make sure to use two trays rather than one. They are the perfect texture. Nice and chewy and soft. Yumm-O!

Bananas Foster II

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2007
this was incredibly good! I kind of eye-balled all the ingredients, but it turned out excellent. I put a little too much rum in it, but I think everyone was pretty forgiving ;)

Golden Sweet Cornbread

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2007
I thought the taste was just perfect..I like how there isn't too much oil used, but they still turn out really moist. I made them into muffins, and had them on 400 in the oven, but then turned it down to 350 for the last 5 mins or so. I wish I would of lightly sprayed inside of the cupcake papers because the sides of the cornmeal did stick a little.

Eileen's Spicy Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2006
I just baked a tester batch because of the skeptism that built up after reading a few reviews. My conclusion is that if you follow the recipe with the exception of adding a few extra touches of flour here and there you will have a delicious cookie at the end! They came out moist at 8 mins and oh so good! Dont be turned off by the smell of molasses because it does go away once you bake the cookies. All that's left is the spicy hints of cloves, ginger and cinnamon. One thing, I wasn't sure if it was ground ginger or real ginger so I added the real thing. Worked out really well!! thanks so much for the great recipe =)

Cranberry Hootycreeks

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2006
I just made these cookies and they turned out o.k. The only complaint I have are that they flatten out and crumble. I dont know where I went wrong, but they came out burnt around the edges were they had flattened out..

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2006
I just made these cookies and despite not having the proper rolled out they came out pretty good. I omitted the 1/2 cup of white sugar, BAD IDEA! I should of left it in they ended up being too bland. Besides that, I switched to 1 cup of butter and added 1/2 tsp. extra baking soda. I'm going to try doing them with all the sugar and the rolled outs and if they turn out well I will be doing them for Christmas =)
