Four Spice Crackles

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
Awesome cookies! I made them for a party and everyone raved about them. Really great around the holiday season. I used fresh ginger and it definitely added a kick.

Asian Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
This was good. Nice mix of flavors and a great way to use up the plethora of cucumbers during the summer. I didn't have any peppers or sesame seeds on hand, so threw in some green onions. Was a hit at the dinner table.

Roasted Chickpeas

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2007
Really good! I followed other recommendations to lower the cooking temperature, and they came out well. I'll have to experiment with different seasonings next time I make them.

Tofu Parmigiana

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2007
Delicious! As a new vegetarian, I appreciate recipes that allow me to enjoy the foods I used to eat and not use meat products at the same time. This one definitely fit the bill. I followed other reviewers' advice about freezing the tofu the night before, and it had a great consistency. All around excellent recipe.

Creamy Yogurt Hummus

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2007
Delicious! So incredibly easy to make. The yogurt adds a nice little tang, and as my boyfriend said, makes it a bit lighter as well. We cut back on the lemon juice (I think the 1/2 cup thing is a typo). After we tasted it, added some cumin and freshly ground black pepper, but we could have left it alone according to the recipe. Will definitely make again - great for informal get-togethers with friends!

Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
This soup was good, but it was not very spicy at all. My boyfriend and I like things really hot, and this just didn't do it. I liked the ingredients in the soup though - we made our own broth and I didn't want to just throw celery and carrots in it. Thanks for the recipe, we'll probably make again, but figure out how to make it spicier.

Zesty Red Potatoes

This recipe is FANTASTIC. I like my food spicy, and usually recipes fail to meet my expectations, but this one did, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Simple But Awesome Lemon Pepper Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2006
I thought it was very good. I had the problem with the oil leaking out of the tin foil as well, but I thought the taste was delicious. Didn't have any lemon pepper, so I just marinated the pork chops in lemon juice for a few hours and then rubbed freshly ground black pepper on them. Very good recipe.
