Parsley Spinach Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2002
Fantastic! After overeating during the holidays, my husband and I were craving something green and good for us. This was it. I even subbed ketchup for tomato paste, cayenne pepper for turmeric, added more salt, some pepper, and sprinkled a little fresh grated parm on top when serving. We loved it! Comfort food at its best - and good for us too!

Michelle's Peanut Butter Marbled Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2001
This is a very good brownie. I used milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet because I prefer the taste. Fantastic chocolate and peanut butter flavor - neither flavor is overpowering. Wonderful recipe.

Peanut Butter Brownies I

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2001
These had a good flavor, but were very flat compared to most brownies. Maybe it was because I baked them in a glass baking pan? Good flavor, but I ended up splitting them horizontally and sandwiching the halves with raspberry filling for PB&J brownies - just to give them a little height.

Peppermint Patty Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2001
These had a rich dark appearance, great gooey texture, and a refreshing mint flavor. Make sure you watch them the last 15 minutes or so of baking - I took mine out about 10 minutes before the recipe said to because they were getting a little crispy around the edges. Very good!

Wild Mushroom Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2000
This stuffing is outstanding! It's a beautiful dark color from the wild mushrooms, and everyone at my Thanksgiving dinner loved it. Many went back for seconds on this before the turkey!! It is a little time consuming to prepare, but well worth the effort. I couldn't find egg bread, so I cubed and toasted egg buns, and it turned out great.

Ma Lipo's Apricot-Glazed Turkey with Roasted Onion and Shallot Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2000
This is a wonderful recipe. This was my first year hosting Thanksgiving dinner at my house. I made this turkey, gravy, and stuffing (wild mushroom stuffing referenced here) for 8 people. Everyone gave it rave reviews. It was beautiful with the glaze! Very easy to put together!
