I'm a wife, mother of 5 and Grandmother of 4. I love spending time with my family and of course..cooking! I love to bake, anything from cakes to delicious desserts. I also like to grill...with a little help from my husband, of course! One of my favorite traditions is having the entire family over for Thanksgiving dinner. I love to cook, so it never seems like a chore. I think my first real triumph was a few years ago when I made my first Thanksgiving turkey(Mom had always cooked the turkey before), I was so worried that it would be dry. It turned out perfect, everyone complimented on the seasonings and how moist it was....I was so proud ! The tragedy that stands out the most in my mind( there have been several) is the year I decided to bake homemade brownies for my Dad's birthday.I baked them right before we went to visit, and I had already told him I was bringing them...well, I left them in the oven too long and burned them so badly that they weren't edible! I had to tell my poor Dad that he wouldn't be getting his brownies this birthday.
