About this Cook
I am a happily married mother of two daughters. For many years I was a single mother working multiple jobs. My children were raised on frozen foods and mac and cheese. After meeting my husband and finding that he loved anything I would cook for him I began to experiment and found I actually loved to cook. Now cooking has become my favorite thing to do.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook anything that includes fresh ingredients, especially when I have grown them myself.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I do not have any family cooking traditions but I am attempting to create some.
My cooking triumphs
Becoming a good enough cook that my husband's co-workers fight over the leftovers he takes to work.
My cooking tragedies
When I was a child I used to love to mix things together in the kitchen and I created some pretty frightening foods. As an adult my tragedies usually involved poor timing of my dishes and having some over or under cooked.

Double Dare Peaches
This is a fantastic recipe! You can make this as spicy or mild as you like. We love spicy so I used fresh peppers from my garden and some ground red pepper and fresh Palisade Peaches from the farmers market. Thank you SO much for this recipe!

Thank you SO much! Simple and wonderful. Mu husband raved. We were all wondering who would get the last bits and I was thinking I could put it into an egg dish to take to work in the morning... NOPE no leftovers.
